We have an abrasive material Alumina with 60nm particels current running in dilute mode cause excessive pipe wear. Would changing to dense phase work? Thanks. We use pnuecalc software.

What's the best knot to tie on the bottom for a quick release?

I (re) calibrated two machines. One of them works perfectly and has the correct weight. The other weighs around three pounds off (it varies slightly, off more for heavier bags). This didn't happen before and didn't on the other machine. I attempted to calibrate it again but it still has this issue. I've made sure all the settings are the same between the two machines and it is still an issue. For instance a bag will display as 50 lbs. But will really be 47 lbs. It isn't an issue with the tare weight and I have no idea as how to fix it. It worked fine before (only slightly off which is why I recalibrated it). Please help

@@jacobburns3340 Jacob, Here is the initial thought from our service manager: I would say there is a mechanical issue with the machine because the scale is reading 50lbs but when they check weigh, it weighs 47lbs. There must be a mechanical bind on the scale some where causing it to think its right but weighs wrong. If this is a TE-100 then they need to remove clamp assembly and check around loadcell for buildup, or something mechanical happening with clamps or gate. you can reach out via email listed above or call 888-882-9657 x 131 to talk to our service team

Sir, please can you help me solve my problem with the machine that is in the video. I want to weigh 25 kg, and when I weigh, I find 22 kg
The setpoints on the machine controls the weight in bag. The displays would read something as follows depending on the type of machine this controller is on. A. Sp1 or dribble, is where machine will slow the flow of product down. (Example for 25 kg would be a setting of 15 to 18 kg depending on flow of product). B. Sp2 or cutoff, is where machine stops the flow of product. ( for a 25 kg setting this could be 24 to 24.5 depending on the free fall of product after machine stops).

Dense phase is a good candidate when you need to blanket materials with N2…especially when it needs to be 100% N2

Hello, really helpful presentation. Just a quick question, my material is conveying in dilute phase with a blower and if I want to shorten the unloading time, can I, in theory, add another pump along the conveying line to speed things up?
Increasing pressure is the only way to increase rate in an existing line.. another blower will add volume also and thus be self defeating
Once i am at the point of DO TRAD CAL (ZERO) it shows ADC Error. I am looking in the manual for that error, but i can´t find what it is. Does anyone know?

The ADC error is usually a bad load cell reading into the meter. A. Make sure there is nothing mechanical binding up scale. B. Check all wires going into back of meter, make sure the jumpers are installed and in right place. C. You could try and do the Trad Cal (Span) first. D. Check the MV output from load cell to see if loadcell is bad.
Can anyone tell/show me where the raw materials come from?
They are unloaded from the underneath side of the rail cars and transferred into the storage silos or into the large day bin hoppers above the tote filling stations
They come from railcars and the truck and get conveyed to either the silos outside or the two large storage hoppers inside, shown around the 20 second mark .

one should look at dilute phase 1st…it is less expensive to buy and to operate. Dense phase needs either abrasive or fragile materials as a reason to look at it
