It looks like to me, you learned how to get your way when you were a kid and were very undisciplined. As an adult this carried over into focusing on pleasure and blocking drudgery. This became your pattern. Hopefully, this will help you develope better patterns.

Despite all the pop science rhetoric neuroscience is still largely in its absolute infancy. Take it from me - whatever problems you might be experiencing, messing with a bunch of idiots and crooks who don’t know what they’re doing and don’t care, just isn’t worth it.

I am lucky enough to have a local office that does brain training. I just had my 2nd session. I've had severe panic disorder for 35 years - I've been to therapy off and on over the years and pretty much had a handle on them except under stress - I have gone 3 years without a single panic attack but in recent years I would get a bad one about every 3 months but in January something happened and I started having them daily. I don't like taking drugs so I have been a mess. Started taking therapy again and it was my therapist that told me about Neurofeedback and she is new to our state so she looked it up and found a local office. If this works for me it will be the answer to many many prayers.

Actually,. all these devices can do is "focus". They will always recommend to everyone the "focus" apps, as this is all they can do.

That first part came off as the best snake oil salesmanship i have seen in a while. Not sure if that is intentional, but i love it!
