My cows love alfalfa they are beaties when they come running across our field to get some alfalfa
Can’t beat it!
Just fed our cows and bedded them down 40 mph winds and blowing snow!!
where you located? Ranch on!!
Happy new years great video thanks for sharing my friend
Exelente ganado Exelente trabajo señores.
Gracious vato
People?
It’s a joke
Then you out it under the ratchet and finish tightening down
🤙🏼
It has good”fall” good job
Thank ya
I just fold it up and then tie it to the tightened part of the strap. I think both will get the job done but this method puts your slack in a puddle of whatever is on the bottom of the trailer.
Okay
Hi
🤙🏼
Great advice. Not sure why you have Yellowstone Theme and another song, maybe Bob Segar playing at the same time.
🍻
Go for it mate will watch you all next year
Thank you!
The other videos better he fell down
Haha
I just wiggle it around and pull it out. As God intended. God bless
Haha God doesn’t want your back to be shot when you get older…. Cheers!
I am full time rancher and i have a other business i own to knock down trees and buildings old houses and driveways whatever u want done i can do it i sale hay i do buy steers and put them on grass and feed get them fat and sale them and sale breed heifers and open heifers i buy steers put them with my steers if i don’t get a enough for my cows most of the time i get more heifers then bull calves last year i sold bout 350 steers out of my cattle and the rest were heifers this year i got 280 steers i had to go buy 100 steers 3 months ago and now bout to sale them in February
Heck yeah! Where you live?
@ Oklahoma
Put them right on ur property corner so you piss off ur surveyor
Lol
@HiddenSpringRanch I'm not venting ur venting
If I was you I stay with the cows tell you get it right
What do you mean?
Get your cows build up then do something else I got cows and rabbits and chicken and quail but I got how many cows I wanted then start on the rabbits just do it one at a time
Great goals. I just realized u started your youtube channel 2 day after my birthday. The bottle calves, can u use them for breeding? How about pork of some kind? Glad u share your journey and knowledge it's helpful.
Thanks man. That’s awesome! Happy early birthday! You could, but I like to know their pedigree if I put them in my cowherd. I just raise them up and sell them around 3-400 I haven’t given pork much though. I will throw the idea around! Thanks!
@HiddenSpringRanch gotcha thank you I see alot of people breeding for feeder pigs. It's something I been looking into myself. I love the railcar. Love trains my whole life. Wat rail companies run in your area?
Looking good my friend
Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.
Merry Christmas!
Better listen boys there's a John Dutton in the making remember it all starts with the little things
🍻
Looks like a rawhide outfit but you will make it anything you can build yourself out of what you have makes a difference farming ranching is not for someone trying to make a quick buck most are happy just to survive living your dream and you won't find a way or place to raise kids good luck
🍻
how many cattle do you have
We run about 50 mother Cows
Which one? 🌚
Both 😆
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year .
Absolutely! Merry Christmas sir!
Merry Christmas my friend great video they bottle calves can u use them for breeding ur welcome 🙏

Thank you! You as well!
He's a nice looking bull
Thank ya
@HiddenSpringRanch ur welcome
Great video thanks for sharing my friend
Thanks for the support my man!
@HiddenSpringRanch ur welcome 🙏
Love that mixed herd! How are you preparing for the colder weather that's coming?
Thanks brutha. Cows are tough! Get them some dry bedding, good full bellies full of alfalfa and water for them to drink! The staying alive part is up to them!
Great video, great looking bulls!
Thanks
Who is teaching your cattle to sweep the leg?😂😂
Hahaha
What's the brand of the spray?
The bottle was pink eye spray. But it was clean. We put Iodine on them.
Looks good bud. Love them Char’s and Smokey’s. Wish I could rationalize running them for a few seasons on my cows. Here on the far west coast I get docked for em no matter the quality. Keep ranchin
Absolutely. Thank you sir! Hope all is well on the west coast. Thanks for the comment
Those bulls look like 2,000 lb plushy toys! ( Mean as a complement) Beautiful animals and they don't seem to be overly aggressive. Nice job! I expect those bulls won't be eager to jump any fences with all those nice cows to play with ! LOL
Haha no offense taken! I sure hope these girls are sufficient enough for these boys!
Nick at the 8:44 min mark.😂
Haha! Need some bread over here sir!😂 💰
Great video very informative the more i learn about cows it seems like im starting to love charolais cows. Ur fall herd love that mix of red and black angus. I did have a question i forgot to ask u from ur last video do the feedlot sale cows if a farmer see one they like?
I’m sure they would. But if I was you man, don’t buy cows from feedlot for breeding purposes!
@HiddenSpringRanch gotcha what's your best advice for buying cows?
7:07 7:09 7:09
Kind of depends which direction you want to go. If I was you, and wanted to start a small herd. Go find a neigbor or fellow guy in the lien of business. Maybe try to buy a few of his older cows that’ll give you 1 or 2 years of production. Good calm cows that will work for you. So you don’t work for them.
@@HiddenSpringRanch gotcha
Nick, any snow out your way?
No sir. I don’t see any moisture in our 10 day either.
U can when u sale ur kids calves u can save the money and when they r 16 they can buy a vehicle and save the money and pay for the insurance and gas just saying
Absolutely. That’s another options
You are feeding better this year
Absolutely. Had good takeaways from last year.
Dinner.
Facts
U got a couple of nice looking bulls. You got good looking calves too u keeping any? I'm loving them charloas crosses. Great video thanks for sharing.
Thank you sir. I won’t keep any of the black/char cross calves. But those 3 red angus cows, they were bred last year to a 50/50 red/char bull. So their calves are 75% red 25% char. I am thinking about keeping 2 heifer calves from them. But ultimately will wait to see how they grow!
@HiddenSpringRanch gotcha do you breed the same bulls to your spring herd?
@@HiddenSpringRanch ur welcome
@@jermainewyatt1995 we will breed that bar s bull to them. That curly headed bull.
@@HiddenSpringRanch gotcha

Yes sir!
I really like that charolais cross breed.
Couldn’t agree more!
looks like you had alot of little helpers .
Absolutely. Teach them young so they will Hopfully keep on the tradition.
Great video, Nick!!! You & the HSR family have a beautiful ranch.
Thank you! I really appreciate that
What did you do with the nuts
Left them lay. We have no use for them.
Good eating
No fried mountain oysters?
Nope not this go around!🤣
Best video yet! Lookin forward to seeing the ranch grow!
Thanks sir!
