Had the same issue with the XC40, and realised that if the 12v battery is less than 13v you have that issue. Discomnect the 12v and give the battery a charge up 14v and that might help

No way This is exactly what happened to me, I wasn't sure if it was because of the water or because a little fall that it had hours before. Now I can confirm it was because of the water. I opened mine and managed to get it working now after 2 weeks trying. I will post a video explaining the entire story, will let you know here.

Did you figure out what happened? I took mine to the sea and in addition to getting wet (of course), there was a bunch of salt and things on it. So, I made a point to wash it thoroughly afterwards and let it dry before putting it back in the charging case. I know that the case isn't waterproof. Did you do all this and it this still happened?

Thanks for the video =). My mi 4k drone had the same issue. After checking the gimbal flex cabel i`ve checked the pin connector on the mainboard. Is it possible that the cable "marked as green" ends in the middle of the lower pin row? And not with the purple one?

Hi, i think have same issue with gimbal camera. My previous RC doesnt connect with drone anymore, so i've bought a reserve RC..after pairing with drone, everything works like before except gimbal camera N/A. and cannot record the footooge or photo. After i see you how to fix....i want to try,but i know it not easy. Btw 0n 5:51 i can see there is a socket for mini SD, never knew about that. what is the purpose ? Thanks

Just took one of mine appart to see similar issue. On mine the solder joints on the connector to the gimbal had stripped away (looks like a really bad quality issue). Did you see if that connector component can be bought online ? Really crap quality Xiaomi!!
