This is such an underrated topic. I struggle with this too but with screenshots, so it’s a more useless reason than you because there’s no core memories attached to them. I spend my time reading and learning about things online, and I often take screenshots of info I want to revisit or research later… but I rarely go through my camera roll. But the few times I go through it I think that the content of 80% of them is super interesting, so I have an attachment to them. It’s like I use it as a “second memory” because existing in the digital age is total information overload lmaoo. I make art too and hoard it so I may take your advice about “letting it go” because it’s something I’ve been thinking about for years now. 💜🙌🏾
