Hi Sherry! Wow, it's hard to pick a favorite wip! They are ALL so beautiful. As always I very much enjoyed our visit ( and had to go get some chips and salsa immediately 😂. I have only worked on one Janlynn kit and it's still a WIP from 2011, I think. Four Seasons Birds. I think it put me off because of the fractionals. Do they all have fractionals?
Thank you, Christine! That's funny about the salsa and chips because when I watched your video I had to have a cup of coffee 😂 The Janlynn kits aren't all so bad. The Farm Stand does have fractional stitches, but it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have that floppy aida cloth. Ha! Ha! Hoping to find something better to work with soon.

So good to see you! I love all your WIPs. Your hubby has good taste! I really like the Hoosier one - it’s probably my favorite although the cabin would be a close second. And you know I love the coffee dyed piece. Would love to see how you frame it! Sure wish we lived closer. I’d love to stitch with you and talk all things cross stitch and garden.

Happy New Year to my favorite sheep. I hope you get to stitch everything you want in 2024. Paula Vaughn stitches always project the feeling of nostalgic peacefulness…perhaps this is what causes the association.
Happy New Year to my favorite owl. You are such a kind and encouraging soul here on Flosstube. There is definitely nostalgic peacefulness in Paula Vaughan's designs. So that is a connection. Something that stood out to me was the floral wallpaper in the cross stitch design. It was so much like the Paula Vaughan designs. I love the thoughts you and Renee (The Appalachian Stitcher) had about this.
I absolutely love the 4 seasonal houses with the kitty. My library had it so I was able to copy the patterns. I plan on starting the Spring house next year...in the spring of course. Would love to see an ornament finishing video. My thoughts are to wait to do Sweet Memories till next year, and start the two cute patterns from the magazine. Those are adorable!

But she got interested in that Star Trek book. 😂 She asks me several nights a week to watch a couple episodes with her before going to bed. So I just sit there and stitch and still keep up with the episodes because I watched them so much as a teenager.
I can relate - I sit and stitch and watch people rebuild motors on TH-cam with Andrew because that's what he enjoys!

Love Halloween Surprise and the Black Cat and Sheep!!!! I thought that pattern was in their newest Halloween magazine I just bought, but then you said 2022...🥹. I like the Pumpkin pattern on the Vintage Country Mocha, even though the flowers did pop on the white. Sending prayers and positive healing thoughts to you every day.
