fantastic soup recipe for these cold winter days. try it without dumplings for a low carb treat.
20 hour pulled pork
มุมมอง 232 ปีที่แล้ว
I do this around Christmas time but it's good anytime of the year. It does take awhile but it is worth the time. The pork is not overcooked if you keep the heat around 225 for the entire process. The first 4 hours on the smoker be sure the meat doesn't excide 150 to be sure the juices of the pork do not start dripping out to much because you want all the juice possible left in your pan for the ...

quick video of a pot of deer chili we ate on this week. the venison was fresh and the fixings were what I had canned from a few years ago out my gardens. I didn't get the beans in video but I used pinto this time as I always find kidney beans to Tuff to chew.

Great build, first class smoke house. But, please lose the "infamous Pink curing Salt." It is not needed. Only 4 grams of that can kill you. I only use salt (2.5 to 3 % by weight), and sugar is optional if you want to avoid type 2 diabetes. Salt kills all bacteria and other micro organism. Pink curing Salt is sodium nitrate/nitrite. It is used to make gun powder, and kill rats and other small rodents
This looks like a job for the little women wife. Women are created to be men's helpers so get them off the couch to do something useful.
Man o man. Great build.. outstanding bacon slices
I can get 25 concert blocks for the price of, 1 sheet of roofing tin. I would need at less 14 sheets If you use a title saw > It would be a lot easier to cut the blocks and a cleaner look
Price on lumber, 😡😡 ITS CHEAPER JUST BUILD OUT OF CONCERT BLOCK rather than roof tin as well
@426superbee4 that was all re purposed material I don't have 120 dollars in it
@@thebudgetgarden344 that is cool ! Nice build 👍👍🍖🍖🍕🍕🍗🍗
Way over kill for such a small house! No need for the concrete floor or the side walls!
@@larryvice5835 my smokehouse my rules
Sorry can I ask you what type of grill temperature sensor are you using (at 17:44) ? Looks good!
liked n subscribed mahalo 4 sharing going 2 bookmark your video 4 future reference might want to build your design one day aloha n happy new year 🤙
Music sucks!
Indeed it does
It's everythink in 19 minutes Good luck
Gorgeous! I want one!
😂 And I thought I was the only one who uses his Kubota and rototiller to loosen the soil before shoveling.
Smoker box is great. But why go through with all the heat, and trouble when now a day we have cold smoke by smoke generators. Personally I use a smoke tube which lasts me up to 5 HR of whatever smoke flavor I choose. I know there are some that last a lot longer.
Electricity costs money.
You don't need to use the pink salt
This could be considered a dangerous video. People thinking he built something worthy of smoking food in... Please folks, choose your materials wisely when building anything to cook or prepare food with.
What materials are dangerous?
awesome
You can get block that is made to be splittable you know.
It was a budget build
No rebar in that concrete base? Or even some wire mesh? Major mistake. So cheap to do and so costly in materials and sweat equity when it fails... Did I just miss it?
It has mesh in it
Great video I built one very similar. Very nice. What controller did you use for the Temp, etc.?
My dad used a old fridge he hollowed out
I would remove the strandboard you have on the inside. That contains toxic glues that could Leech into your food
2kg of pork here in oz is 17$
Looks like an outhouse. But important is that it works for u.
Nice work brother
I like this video.
You should really use hardwood for materials instead of pine/osb...just trying to help
This is a cold smoker, not a hot smoker, softwood and plywood are just fine for this type of build. If you're going to hot smoke, it should be built out of metal or brick. Since this won't exceed about 225 internal air temp soft wood works great
GET SOME SUSPENDER NOBODY WANTS TO SEE ASS HANGING OUT SHORTS HOSS
Garbage
Nice job. What type of fire box did you use. I'm looking for one like that for the smokehouse I'm about to build.
Looks like an old wood burning heater that would be used in the home.
Started with wood fired but changed to propane
Liked and subscribed thanks for sharing this with us Aloha and Mahalo 🌺🤙🌺
Plans are for the weak .
Building a chicken shack here in Florida no plan run wat ya brung scrap lumber from Construction sites nearby . Not bad for a plumber lol

Don’t want vegans to capture them.
What wood did you use???? I see a lot of builds but fail to say what they built it out of 🤔
Dry pine with metal lining
Great video..... Have to build one this spring!
Why did you have to fry it after you smoked it?
Crispier the better.
It wasn't done, I only take it to 135 to 140 in smoke then slices and fry
Damn. I gotta build me one.
Thanks for sharing.
Your not worried about the obs glue
No I'm not it is lined inside.
Well done...the way I like it 👌
Thank you for watching
Damn! You gonna cut any meat or just hang the whole animal in there?
I set it up for either way by adding or removing shelves
I'm soooooooooo hungry😲😬
Thanks for watching
I don't like the location of your thermometer with that long spike on it. Wind could blow the door closed and stab you pretty deep or you could simply walk into it. But your build was Awesome.
After it poked me 2 times I took it off the door and put it on the side. 😆. Thanks for your comment
@@thebudgetgarden344 That’s funny.
Just found your channel and subbed. Wanted to ask, where did you find the siding for smokehouse?
Ordered it from a local lumber yard. I think it was called "D" cut or quarter cut log siding
@@thebudgetgarden344 thanks bud
Super 🖐🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
I learned something today.. you tha man!
Hi this is your first smokehouse and whiteout plan so congratulations on your project, some comments about what you did wrong first thing when someone build something like this there is a reson for it most people say halter meets for siblings and family you just buy using wrong material to build this house not gonna get this benefit and paint over is for sure help . So your smoke house is good looking and it’s gonna last you next 20 years but I guarantee it’s healthier for your family to buy hams and beacons from the stores they use stainless steel smokers
This Is how I do it. You do you and it's good by me...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a wooden smokehouse.
Yeah wood is just fine or more preferable. I have to mention for safety reasons, plywood has toxic glue in it. I'm sure you burned it out a few times prior to cooking with it but just FYI for others
@@codybennett3646 it is paneled over where is is not cured over

Great video, you are a man of my own heart, who in the hell needs a stinking plan? Like you, I start at project in my head and go from there. Good job, man, keep smokin’! 🤓👌
Great job. You started out saying you have no plan, but you have a better finish project than what I have seen. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, Several provinces in Indonesia also have smoked food products. Thanks for information ....
Молодец мужЫк! Фсё классно делаешь!
Thank you
Great job! What was that second tune playing while you were siding the house? I could work myself to death listening to that...
I can't remember. 😂
