OH MY GOSH!!!! I am so very sorry about your daughter! My god, this is just so beyond - to 😮empathize-anyone who hasn’t gone thru a similar thing, obviously can remotely relate to this horror…and damn!…Applause applause and bravo and so many bear hugs for getting out here and choosing to put these experiences, beliefs and truths out there to help others if they reach out..wow…wow…wow!anyway, too much detail! Just saying you are totally amazing…truly! I’ve certainly had many traumas and definitely went far down the well of illness and perhaps even victim identity, depression, chronic disease, etc., all the classics - I’m not remotely ready to do what ur doing, but I’d like to help people…if I can…but hey, even posting replies like this is a big deal(& feels totally ridiculous to say that esp. given my past!) But you are such an inspiration! And…THANK U! Totally get the being a leader, ‘on’, happy and engaged’ in public and need to let down for a while alone…personally, I love taking a long drive and singing sooo loud!) AND the mass think thing…I have always thought I was above this HA HA…nope! :-0 What attracted me to this post tho was this idea of the Uber labeling ‘thing’ happening now and putting us all at odds…violence…unprecedented horrors…I often think god, we were trying so hard NOT to label before!! How did this happen?? suddenly, this angering, isolating, disempowering, stereotyping and yes, as u said, laying you’re entire self worth and identity in the label - rather than embracing ur - us - in our totality…certainly I guess seems like a terrible and seemingly easier way to get Control, like addictive behavior is perhaps - alcohol, drugs, over exercise, shopping, eating disorders…I’d really like to be able to uncover truly where this really came from and who is at the forefront of the idea, how educated are most of the folks who agree with this, and what will it take for 1. Women to actually become a unified entity and 2. Those who don’t agree to actually organize and act! Reminds me of rep. Vs dems…dems to me are like women, republicans like men. Who even after a blow out fight can join up on a different topic or action! Women, our wisdom, caution, insecurities- don’t know exactly, but, somehow would be nice to have a pact that would allow us to join and get assertive, aggressive even!, but TOGETHER…😳 - anyway I could go on and on! I’ll just subscribe and pass ur posts along. Great work and keep it up, yea? :-))
Hello. Sorry I did not see your comments earlier. Thank you so much for your encouragement and whatever it is, you are going through, you are not alone! Standing with you.💜

Thank YOU! xoxo
Once you realize you are starting to feel low/depressed, you can quickly disrupt the trauma pattern by using your disruptor word! My disruptor word is , “CEASE”!
Yes! Love your word. Stop those negative thoughts, feelings, and words with a word that moves you. Cease! That is taking command.

The best thing I can do now is to keep honoring Jamie by making a difference. 💜
Thank you so much! Your videos are so helpful to me! My son is 25 and active in his addiction. He lived at home up until July 2018. He lives with my mother who enables him and blames me for his addiction and problems. I’m currently not speaking to her either. My son wants nothing to do with me. I pray every day and cry out to God. I’ve been going through this for 10 years. ❤️
Yumara Long So sorry we had to meet in this way, but thankfully we can stand together. Unfortunately, you have no control over your sons journey, or what your mother decides to do. His addiction is not your fault, but I know it breaks your heart. The best thing you can do for everyone involved is to stand up and become courageous… To reclaim your life! This proves to others, including your son, that he can stand up! This does not mean that you stop loving or lose hope. If you want some help doing this, go to www.valeriesilveira.com and consider joining me coaching membership. There are other programs that can help you as well. You are not alone; I’m standing with you! 💜
I hope my story inspires YOU to Stand UP & Fight. I am standing with you. <3
Thank you! What a great message and exactly what I needed to hear.
Susan - you are most welcome! I am so glad this came at the right time. Standing with you.
