I have an airfix model of the eagle
Your ship sucks balls, our were awesome!
Yea it’s really bad
Boring
A few years back, a former Marine aviator who had over 2000 hours of combat Corsair time in the S. Pacific, mentioned, after I had landed my LSA plane on his uphill and switchbacked mountain driveway (with prior permission from him), and i bitched about the lack of viz, that when they turned short final for landing on the flat top, the entire ship disappeared!
Yea not a easy plane to fly but boy o boy could it go
@@RevengeOfTheShow The old boy I referenced, went on to have a 50 year flying career as a crop duster after his military service, then flew a Super Cub for 14 years on his NV ranch, all with 0 injuries. Then he got mixed up with a tractor's PTO and lost an arm, which really pissed him off! Every time I'm around my tractor's PTO I think of that....
@ woo that’s crazy and 2000 hours that’s a lot
Awesome looking warbird! The F4u Corsair was the best all-round fighter of WW2.
I agree and thanks for watching
The ships are amazing. I'd like to know if the builder uses pontos, and flyhawk photo etched or more 3d resin parts . The texas looks bigger than 1/350 scale
If I see him at next years show I will ask
Thanks for posting the videos of the show!
thanks and hope you liked and thanks for watching
@ You’re welcome and I did, plus you got pics of my club’s table including my builds and ongoing projects!
I just received a "generic NCC1701 display stand" I ordered off of eBay. It's a 3 piece kit; laser-cut sections of acrylic that attach together. Infinitely more stable than the Diamond Select idea of a concept that somehow was approved for manufacturing.
yea that must look great then. And thanks for watching.
If @1stPhorm names a beverage, the Hannah Barron . It would sell like mad.
Do you have any more footage of artist alley? I've been trying to find an artist I bought a print from at this con and they are not listed on the exhibitor list nor are they in this video.
I do not think so. There where a couple of artists that did not want there table shot and the day I shot that room some artist tables we’re empty or they we’re not there. It would help if I saw the art you are asking about. Thanks for watching I almost made this vid private because the stuff I shot at that show performed so poorly.
9:50 Tupolev Tu-22M3 Soviet Jets just have a different charm to them.
I agree that build was so good to. Thanks for watching
I was there! Second time judging
cool that is a hard job to name the best builds. thanks for watching
Thank you very much for these images of the event. I wish I was there, but it was so far away from France. Hope I'll make it in the future.
So glad you liked and yea, you are far but it looks like they will be doing these one time a year someplace different so maybe you will be able to go to one someday. Thanks for watching
@@RevengeOfTheShow Yes I definitely hope I will be able to attend next year's edition. This would provide me with tons of stuff for my podcast entirely dedicated to BSG.
@@galactifrak yea you would really enjoy it
That's not the cast from Battlestar Galactica. They were in the cheap rip-off of the original. I never saw the remake, after I learned that they got rid of Starbuck. A cigar smoking, gambling, woman chaser.
They didn't get rid of Starbuck. Also, it's not a rip-off, but a very different story. You're missing out, and I feel sorry for your loss in this.
@@davidmoody3208 Using the same name doesn't make her Starbuck. As to missing out, you only miss out if you regret not experiencing it, which I don't. Do you know why the original series had robots? It was so the good guys could kill as many bad guys as they wanted to, without actually killing people. But since the remake went cheap and didn't want to pay for the robot costumes, that idea went out the door. The rip-off series was at the beginning of the woke era in Hollywood, replacing male actors with female actors. And don't get me started on 5'2", 110 pound people, beating up 6', 200 hundred pound people.
thanks for filming this! was curious what the event would be like, hope they bring it to OKC or nearby at least!!
Glad you saw it and I hope it gave you a god idea of what was going on at the event. Thanks for watching
Yea those flat figures are so cool. Interesting to know that they are more popular in Germany. Thanks so much for watching.
I think what happened there with the "B" is that they inadvertently marked it as the "E" and when someone said that was wrong, they designed a paint jig machine to overlay a "B" over the "E" that was already there. That is why it looks so dark. Look at it under a magnifying glass like I did with mine. As far as the deflector dish goes, I agree with you. I did just get done fulling detailing my ship by painted the deflector dish cove flat black, and the dish itself a light blue. I then detailed the long warp nacelle grilles on their sides also with flat black paint, and the impulse engine exhausts on the back of the saucer section with crimson red paint to mimic the red glow of the engines. Finally, I agree with you, the bridge button to work the lights is way too big. I'm trying to figure out what to do about that. I was able to do this stuff to my ornament because I'm a veteran scale model kit builder and learned how to do this kind of detail work years ago. And finally, like you, I wish the deflector dish could light up as well, instead of just having a gray "belly button" hole in the front of the secondary hull. I'd show a couple of photos of my reworked model here, but TH-cam does not give you that option in the comments area.
Yea I wish you tube let you show what you did it sounds very cool somehow if you can show it to me maybe on my Facebook page revenge of the show that would be cool. Thanks so much for watching at the moment I am writing this I am at the BSG show. Thanks again for watching and info I will take a good look at the b
The Hallmark website says the deflector dish lights up. It doesn't. There's no bulb or even blue paint. I returned mine. For that price, the dish should light up.
@krisd.2096 yea the website does say that but mine does not light up and someone else that has one his does not light up ether I wonder what’s the deal with that. Thanks for watching
Your part 2 video to this one popped up in my feed first same comment applies here I like the occasional still image. I have to say I liked the one without music a little better, great job. I hadn't ever seen your videos before but I subscribed so I should see them now,
Thanks that is great to hear and I appreciate you saying the thing about the music it makes it much easier to not have to put music in the videos. Thanks for watching
Just my opinion, but less is more when it comes to the music. Otherwise love seeing the shows. Thanks for doing these.
@marchhare22-lm9on thanks for feed back. And thanks for watching
Thanks for the video! I like how you occasionally added a still image with some color correction. It's a shame how most exhibition halls have such harsh lighting. All too often it will make an otherwise excellent model look somewhat less. You did a good job!
thanks again so glad you liked it
No Grim Reaper or D&D figures!!
I do not think I ever saw d&d figures at wonder fest
Thanks for this. Enjoyed it
I am glad to hear that and thanks so much for watching I am going to another toy soldier event I think next week and I am going to shoot that show to. Again thanks and thanks for watching
tk u for putting up the vendors names
Yea I tried my best to get those in vid and thanks for watching
I have built this kit and it is not a difficult build but can be very frustrating. I went with the folded wing version and that requires cutting the wings with a PE saw blade. (Worth the effort) When applying the paint, make sure you study real life images first as there is no real paint guide in the instruction sheet. The canopies are the biggest issue, the split down the middle is very frustrating. Second is the fit of the wings into the fuselage, When you finally get them to snap into place they will break the joint on the exhaust port requiring regluing and some putty. The underside was not an issue. Lastly, the decals are a dream. you won't be disappointed. Here is mine . . . i.pinimg.com/1200x/8a/cb/c2/8acbc20dedb589de0908b4bc4e989db1.jpg
This is one of the best videos I've seen covering a toy soldier show. You really made me feel like I was there in person and took your time filming the vendor tables and products they displayed. Thank you!
So glad you liked and thank you for watching
The Cartograf print is under the Fightertown one.... Anyway, I'm doing it and it requires some extra work to make the parts fit toghether. The instruction are not very clear and some parts are missing (in the instructions). The airbrakes are a mess especlially if closed.
Wow some parts are missing that sucks. Sounds like a hard build I hope it all comes out cool. Thanks for watching and letting me know how the build goes.

Cool how did it go with the build and thanks for watching
Space 1999 was a huge part of my childhood. Thanks for sharing this awesome video with Nick Tate!
you are welcome thanks so much and thank you for watching
HI! Thanks for covering Hero Within. That ship in question, I believe is the USS Jenolan. It was Scotty's crashed ship from the TNG episode "Relics". He and Geordi got it up and running again to save the Enterprise. Thanks!
thanks and thanks for watching
The ship was from the episode Relics.
Star trek tng
thanks and thanks for watching I was thinking his ship was smaller.
You did a great job, thank you!
thank you and thanks for watching
Cheers for the video.👏👏,puts the London show to shame. So many tables and figures.😮
Many thanks for this video. It is excellent.
thank you very much glad you liked and thanks for watching
Lot's of good stuff. It would be helpful next time if you would scan a little slower. Very hard to watch.
yea next time I will not shoot every table I think I go to the next show this Sunday. thanks for watching
Im trying to find the Facebook page, can you possibly share the link. Boyd seriously inspired and helped me with my 1/350 series enterprise, id happily build a star trek model with his colors
you can join the model shop page on Facebook its the page he started or me on the revenge of the show page on face book let me know if you find it and thanks for watching.
@@RevengeOfTheShow yes sir thank you so much. I joined a few hours ago.
@@XenoZero82 cool looking forward to seeing your build I have not started mine with work and getting ready to shoot a big show at the toy solder show.
Wow, just heard my voice asking questions in 32-34 minutes, wow!!! So thats how I sound.....
So watched the part you are talking about and the sound I did at the show was not great that place was loud you sounded fine, it's just the way I recorded sound at that loud place. I hope to be at the next show, that is very soon to cover it again and maybe I can do something better with the sound. Thanks so much for watching and seeing your stuff you had at that show was so cool.
You got a bunch of nice cosplays! I loved the vibes of this con
Thank you so much for those kind words and thank you for watching them.
All cars huh?
Yea mostly cars at that show
Thanks for the review. I should receive this kit in the mail in a couple days. I’ve been wondering, did people tend to leave the glow in the dark parts unpainted? It seems like that would make the most sense. Hoping you can share some insight.
Yes most people do leave them un painted and thanks for watching.
I can't believe he's gone, he was one of the most talented Model builders I have ever seen, I have followed so many of his videos for years, and have even asked for advice and he always answered , such a great guy,
Yea he would really want to teach people stuff he held nothing back from model building
In world of so much bad news it is good to see people happy with a bit of escapism. Cheers
Yes I agree and thanks so much for watching
Don't get me wrong these are all fantastic but I also very much want to see new ships like sci-fi author Alan Dean Foster's KK Drive vessels.
Maybe some day some one will do a print of one. But I do not think a company like amt or the like will make that kind of kit. Thanks for watching
@@RevengeOfTheShow Then it's a company not being bold.
He lived down the street from me, used to help me lighting all the time.
very cool I am sure he was very helpful and must have been great to see his work in person.
Beautiful video! Loved the Canadian Hurricane, Spitfire and Mustang action. Merlin magic. ❤
Thank you very much for those kind words and thank you for watching
0:08 nice way to blow a stop sign in a congested area...lol
yea that vid is so sped up it looks like we are going fast but probably doing 5 in some areas
When you have unlimited funds to do a true historic restoration down to the last detail...a masterpiece.
Probably better then when it came off the factory floor. And thanks for watching
Great video!
thanks Glad ya liked
OMG I got 5 for the colonial fleet.
I wonder if they will make more BSG stuff for this Christmas. And thanks for watching
@@RevengeOfTheShow You know my comment above was meant to say, I got to HAVE 5 to recreate the Fleet from the premier. But great channel thanks for the efforts, subbed, and I found a BSG Daggit couple yarns back at a second hand store off St. Marks St. in NYC. Keep us informed for what's coming up for us BSG fans. It's such a strange madness when it comes to BSG merch and companies. Thanks.
@@RichardEKranz thanks for subscribing
One reason why I started building Plastic models was all to do with Boyd. He really made my models come alive. And because of Boyd I went over and beyond. All my Star Trek builds are because of Boyd. RIP 😢BOYD 😢
You and many others
2:50 👍👏👏👏
thanks chuck
Qualité très médiocre pour un prix exorbitant . Une vrai ARNAQUE. 👎👎
