Thank you. I am a school social worker and feel very defeated and helpless right now. It seems I am the only one considering the data and the overall mental, emotional, and physical health of the child when considering reopening the schools. School is where my students go to feel safe, where they don't go hungry. Im disappointed that my SPED department knows just how important special education services for students are and ideally, we should be taking the lead on the importance of reopening but instead they're letting fear hinder whats best for these children.
