Hi Natti. I wanted to work for Disney or Lucas Film right out of art school but was told they only accepted candidates from Cal Arts. I wound up as a Creative Director in the brand agency world. In fact, we own our own agency. From time to time we get to work on creative projects for themed attractions / entertainment. We asked for a meeting with them to see how we could collaborate. They were very gracious and warm and we had a nice Zoom call. They invited us to give them a proposal. We've tried to follow up a few times, but they have not returned our messages. Many signs have pointed towards the project moving forward, but as of yet we have not heard a solid location named or dates for ground breaking or opening. We certainly hope that Storvville Gardens will still happen.

@yourcreativebrief Mamy people have nicknamed it "Dutch Disneyland," but it has its own vibe entirely. For the price of a plane ticket, whoch you can often score round trip to Amsterdam for 700 bucks, and the very reasonable accommodations, you would be staying off property at Disnsy in the worst motel. 😀 Definitely dig into Efteling. It's very interesting.

Thanks for checking out the video. Saw one of Meta's chief VR people just quit over frustration that things just were too inefficient to push the platform to it's full potential. Part of their issue is the pricepoint for the headset. I liken it to Galactic Starcruiser, incredible concept, but not priced for the masses.

Absolutely, ever since Mr. Lincoln from Disney at the World's Fair. I'm not sure the newer projection faced ones are quite up to par. The backlit nature just feels forced. It works in something like the Haunted Mansion at WDW, but that's because those figures are ghostly.The tech will get there. Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks for watching Brainbomb. No doubt about it. This year has been a DISASTER for the Disney Parks brand. They've somehow figured out a way to offend everyone. I'm coming mostly from the perspective that the brand has lost it's way. Walt believed the parks would always be changing, improving. So I'm not against change, but how increased park pricing, add-ons that used to be free, requiring reservations, insane crowds, how they've entered into politics, etc. have all tarnished what was once a "magical" place that most people could afford to go and get away from it all for a few days. I will ALWAYS be a fan of Disney creativity and will continue to produce content about that, but I'm not planning a return trip to the parks until there is a MAJOR shift with the brand. I don't want to support the direction Disney Parks has been going, getting away from it's core mission that Walt had. I've written several times I am concerned about the brand. We'll have to see what the abolishment of Reedy Creek will do. I"m sure Disney will try to spin it to their advantage, maybe even offloading $1 billion+ in debt to the Florida counties.

@@yourcreativebrief I am 100 percent with you on everything you stated. We went to DL in July, only because I needed to use my gift cards, and many animatrinocs weren't working, including the auctioneer on the recently refurbished Pirates. Disney was in a state of disrepair that I have never witnessed, not even in the Paul Pressler years. I have had it with their politics, and their desire to indoctrinate children. It's sad, but I am not a Disney fan, I am a WALT fan, and a fan of all of the creative that Walt brought on board. I won't be returning either, as hard as it is for me to say, unless some major change occurrs.

@@vikingshelm It's interesting to see how far Disney Parks will distance itself from Walt possibly because he was from a non-politically correct era. Perhaps the feel some potential liability. There is talk of making WDW just Disney World. At the same time it seems Disney is responding to negative feedback about the 50th anniversary being devoid of history by putting some short clips of Walt and Roy in the new Enchantment fireworks show at MK.

You should. I was a recording and performing musician first and photography came later in life. My music dreams didn't pan out the way I hoped, but it all turned out good. I'm really blessed to do some unique creative stuff, getting special access to people and places without being controlled by the industry. What you do with music on your channel is really interesting. Thanks for the like on Instagram as well!

Hey. Thanks for watching. I'm checking out some TH-cam videos of AtGames Pinball for sure. Suppose for $100 more it has some perks. My son has already started modding his machine and has talked about replacing the plexi. Not sure if the PC downloads on AtGames will look as good as the official bundled games that come on it. Think my son prefers the WIlliams titles over Gottlieb. I think he said you can get other titles, but you have to pay for each separate. Will look into it more. I'm partial the the look of the Star Wars cabinet from Arcade1Up.

Was hoping people would get the Easter Island statue reference to Night at the Museum where it mocks Ben Stiller's character. That's one of my favorite movies. Anyway, I like how your episodes have those moments as well. As far as Linton's. They were in a different location that the county needed for a road / bridge project and I think they got millions for their spot. So when they rebuilt their flower shop / greenhouse it became acres of outdoor strolling gardens with ToonTown looking buildings, a train ride, animal petting farm, water features, sculpture. Inside is like a highly decorated Disney gift shop with rooms, waterfall, cafe, greenhouse area with parrots, bunnies, etc. It's a treasure for small town Indiana for sure. I'll have to cover the whole property in an episode. Thanks Jim.
