Relive the best moments from the Banff Systems Summit 2024! From inspiring speakers to meaningful connections, we've captured the essence of what made this gathering unforgettable. Join us in celebrating the passion, collaboration, and impact that filled the summit as changemakers from diverse backgrounds came together to explore ideas, share stories, and drive meaningful action. Whether you were there or missed out, let these moments inspire you to be part of the journey toward positive change!
What is the Banff Systems Summit? The inaugural Banff Systems Summit was a 3-day, 2-evening event at the Banff Centre, consisting of plenary speeches and conversations, themed panel sessions, interactive workshops, land-based walkabouts, culturally-informed feasting, and semi-structured networking activities. The Summit aims to address the pressing need for a systems-driven approach to tackling global challenges. We face increasing and overlapping challenges in various areas such as housing, health care, food security, political polarization, transitioning to a lower carbon economy, creating shared prosperity, decolonization, racial justice, new patterns of global conflict, along with adaptations to virtually every career and area of life with advanced technologies.

Kudos to Ayeshwini, Nivethitha, and Misael, the international students of Centennial College whose study highlighted the incredible barriers to the skilled employment and smooth integration into Canadian society. Despite international students being called the ideal "future" immigrants, their contribution to the economy (ex: financing 1/3 of the Ontario post-secondary sector) is often overlooked, students are often underserviced and, unfortunately, remain excluded from receiving settlement services provided to other newcomers in Canada. Hope for a much needed change!

🥰🥰🥰Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. Out of 100 that’s score 0, that’s why your video is not reach out to the people and you have no much subscribers, views , likes, watch time and comments. I think your TH-cam channel will make your dream come true. Can I talk with you?

At 6:00 the speaker says "learning without action is selfish..." How is that? Millions of students, teachers, academics etc learn but need not act (not all of them) This old hindu trope (yes i am Indian) is used again again, by the upper caste elite to make the lower castes "act" without "selfishness" to serve the state, corporations, military yada yada !
