This is amazing! As an old fan, this hit right in the nostalgia.
Kenshin Himura, the main character of "Rurouni Kenshin", had a real person as a model. He was Gensai Kawakami, a feudal retainer of the Higo Kumamoto clan who was active at the end of the Edo period, and was nicknamed "Hitokiri Gensai." It is said that he was fair-skinned, short, and gentle with others, like a woman. However, it is said that there was something like a psychopath, and he mercilessly cut down people on the Shogunate side, saying, "You are like vegetables."
An anecdote about Gensai: One night, Gensai was drinking with some friends. At the table, one of his friends kept talking and was angry about the tyranny of a certain shogunate official, but Gensai seemed to ignore it and was drinking in silence. Gensai disappeared without their noticing it, and his friends were surprised when he returned with a severed head hanging in his hand. “This is the tyrannical official you were talking about, isn’t it? Since I’ve just punished him, let's use this head as a side dish and continue drinking.'”
Almost 30 years later... and "Tactics" is just as great as before. My goodness, the old soundtrack is just too amazing for its own good.

I just used the opening and ending's normal versions, but I tried to pick the scenes with no credits. The farewell scene comes from the Kyoto pv, you can find it in Aniplex channel

This edit is damn near flawless dude. Normally, one problem I see with AMVs when they try mixing in a show's OPs' visuals is that they stylistically clash - the OPs aren't necessarily a different style from the show overall, but they can be drastically different from each other, especially in AoT lol. Not entirely certain how you overcame this issue, but massive props for making the transitions in this AMV as seamless as humanly possible!

Wait why are the lyrics so different from the ones in the official Funimation subtitles? Like at 0:27 where it says "Oh, Father, I still find you so difficult to understand" in the Funimation subtitles it says "Oh, Father, I'm still learning about myself". But those are two very different translations, so which is the correct one? This is kinda bothering me. Either way this is incredible, thank you for posting!
These subs come from some sites where I could find the lyrics, and a bit of them were translated by myself. Please consider the official lyrics, this is just a fan work!
