That spot you were at with rex is a crossing point so odds are those eos may not have been with the raptors but saw an opportunity. The group that you were fighting with amarg early that had like 7+ chickens and achi were a mob boss group. The leader buffs the chickens jump height and and strength and the chickens give the achi extra armor. The best way you coulda survived the fight a bit more with the rex at the end was to watercamp. If they miss or jump off while you're standin in the water you can kill em while they're swimming. Theres a small mini island in the middle of the river in that area right on your mini map durin the fight coulda been a good spot to stay at. If the eos didnt show up and you water camped there was a decent chance you coulda gotten away and killed a few, but there's no such thing as a fair fight on officials. Also, some dinos if you angle your head a certain way you can hit things that latch onto your shoulder because hitboxes. I'm not sure if rex can hit small raptors, but it can def hit achis if they're latched on your shoulder. You can try to bait an achi into pouncing your shoulder, turn your head towards them and use crushing bite on them, and then finish them off.

Deff need practice ur not even fighting back most of the time u need to practice on a tree or a friend learn the timer on cool down so ur more efficient in fights. Like when the 2 Raptors were on your hips as the Rex you should have stomped with a damaged both of them. Then whack them with your tail probably would have finished them off

I really hate that healing calls can heal while in combat. If it healed a little bit then it could be ok, like healing only 20% of what it would outside of combat, but instead it functions as a bonus health bar, meaning that you almost automatically loose the fight because any hits you may have traded are now just lost HP for nothing. IMO they should either pick the reduced healing option or flat out make heals not regenerate health in combat.

Which call were you using there?? I tried using hiss earlier against a sty and it didn't seem to buff anything. Still took a big chunk out of me shortly after. Also, the jump and stamina species are the same. You run 10 seconds they both take 5 seconds to recharge stamina. So what's the point?? I don't even see a difference in the supposed jump height either, do you?? It should have been given a double jump as well. People are too busy kosing to truly enjoy the game I think, especially on officials. I just wanted to be a dinosaur...

The Eotriceratops part looked hard, but you should off tried charging at something when they least expect it, also a tip for turning on Eotriceratops, you can precise turn and move using the normal joystick to be able to turn quickly.

Official server story: Once I was a deinon and had found a large group of mixed raptors, (laten and deinon) I joined them just bc. There wasn’t that many Dinos in IC at the time. Just a stego, spino, the raptor pack, and a metri. The spino joined the pack, a few minutes later, we form a little cuddle pile, including the stego and metri. I wasn’t really comfortable with it bc I have a lot of trust issues on officials. The spino said in the group chat. “Guys, I’m about to starve, I need all the raptors out of the way so I could stomp the stego.” I was shocked that the spino would say that. Just bc it would be cool to the spino to kill 11 Dinos in one stomp. So all the raptors (including metri) got out of the way, and we had stego for dinner.(I bet the stego didn’t think that was cool, but that’s just how it goes with herbi and carni) I asked “why did you spare us?” The spino said “I would feel bad”

I don't even give them time to think they will get a free kill, I immediately retaliate. They learn a lot faster that way xD

Yeah I know what you mean. I think it’s new players getting hunt herb quests. There was an ado spino that attacked my kentro. I got him low and then when he tried to sit the bleed off I put pressure on him by running into and trampling him. He got up and then killed himself on me.

Amarg is so underrated. As someone who plays it quite a bit. Here are some tips 1- Try and not spam stomp unless necessary. It takes a lot of stamina and can get you into sticky situations. 2- Try and do a literally hit and run. While running, hit with your tail against bigger opponents. It is very helpful for escaping. 3- feel free to land headbutts. Sure there not the best but it's alright. But I would mainly use tail attacks because of knock back.
