It could be that you need the map and can't directly hunt for the treasure, did you have the jack hall gang map?
There is a cabin with a boat on the side of that lake.

The game is downloadable after purchase from ashimshakya.itch.io/gauley, currently there's no online in-game verification.

@012Fungaming I think he will provide the updated compilation of the game to download in a zipped folder again. I doubt it if your in-game progress will be transferrable.

@Onepiece0752 It's in its early access phase so there are a number of things wrong with it. The game has been updated at least 6 times after its EA release and some bugs have been fixed.🎉

Dog was doing it’s job sensing a no good yella belly, scoundrel with no (low) honor and you deleted his owner right in front of him. Poor pup scarred for life and will never trust another human long as it lives. Probably grouped up with a pack of wolves and eventually got so mean that he became the alpha and leader of the pack and now leads his band of 78 full grown wolves from homestead to homestead in search of the Man who shot his owner that day while fishing. Till one day he gets a scent and he and his pack go up high on this mountain just to find the Man’s grave. Feeling cheated at revenge he returns everyday to pee and drop a hot pile on the grave of the Man. Now he’s picked up a new scent. The scent of the Man’s best friend. The Man with the scar along with his wife, son and stinky old drunk who lives with them. (The level of detail in RDR3 probably 😂😂)

Yes played the story like 5 times and on my last play though taking it slow… and I knew about him so I always shoot the tent. You can also find a dead body hanging from a tree and once you shoot it down or look at it close they will come out of the woods with machetes and guns lol
