To learn to draw quickly there is a trick that consists of drawing only arms for a week, arms in all possible positions, copy your favorite comic book artists, whether it be superhero, manga, horror, etc. The next week legs, the following week torsos, so the brain automates the different shapes and soon you will do it without thinking. Todd McFarlane said in interviews that he had learned to draw like this. There are also very good books like "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" by John Busceman and to perfect your skills I recommend the "Sobotta Atlas of Human Anatomy" In fact, medical books are a great way to learn to draw real anatomy. To improve speed you just have to draw the same thing over and over again to automate your brain. 😁I totally agree with you, drawing a structure first is essential, although in many videos I skip this and other steps so as not to make the video longer and because I am fascinated by the Korean artist Kim Jung Gi who always drew without any sketch in his live drawing shows and I like to give that improvisational touch in the videos. Although in serious and more complex drawings I need to draw the skeletal structure. I think I made a video on how to draw the basic structure in an old video but I will note your suggestion for future videos. Good point. For a sleeping figure I would draw some horizontal lines and start sketching from there. With the seated figure a three-angled line for the spine, thighs and shins.👍
