i'm very late to this but there's been a silly little update to the mamamoo overall gayness. there's like a 100% chance hwasa and wheein, along with being friends, used to be together either romantically or sexually, or still are. with wheein's newer album + the song 17 (featuring hwasa), which is exclusively about how wheein and hwasa were eachother's "first", which was heavily implied to be meant as THAT type of a "first". idk if you see this comments but if you do deffinitely recommend reacting to that song with lyrics

As far as their style: amazing vocals, distinctive rap and HARMONIES are their style. They can do it all.

I know that I had bashed this movie a few weeks back. Blaming particularly the company. But.... may I suggest an alternative?? You can watch on your own time or you can actually do a reaction to it. I recommend the MAMAMOO 4 seasons concert. It is actually on TH-cam in its entirety and I do mean it. This concert is over 4 hours long. Enjoyed it way more than Mycon. The editing and audio was done right. I honestly don't know how they did it... like 4hrs??? C'mon. They are truly one of the best groups of all time! Do a review on this, then compare the two and tell us how you honestly feel. BTW HWASA is out with her newest hit , I love my Body.

The other memebers were calling Asa the "ACE" so they were saying "ACEsa." Proper Japanese pronunciation is Ah•sah. I honestly don't have a favorite in the group because each one becomes a bias wrecker. The song at the end was them singing their pre-debut song "DREAM" and was made mostly for this episode. After the episode was released people wanted to hear the entire song which is the reason that they have a video for the song with a lot of clips from their introduction videos and the last evaluation to create an emotional video about their journey to debut. There is two videos for the member announcement. The one that we originally watched and then the one with the members reaction. The original one has a lot more of YG talking but the member reaction one was a little shorter on YG's announcement so that they could focus on the members. If you were going to choose one then I would say that the member reaction to the announcement would be the one to go with since the result is the same but at least you get to see the member's reaction which was missing on the original announcement. And the marketing is genius. They presented it in a way that made you become emotionally connected to the members. The fact that their TH-cam channel has more subscribers in their pre-debut than some of the 4th gen groups that have debuted over a year ago. And I know that some people consider them 5th gen but in the world of K-pop the generations doesn't have a distinctive start and end date. And if we are to go by the 7 year rule then there is actually about one more year to go when it is considered 5th gen. There is a few reasons that they marketed BABYMONSTER this way. First and foremost, they needed the public to be accepting of the group. NEW JEANS and their label got a lot of critisms for debuting them when they are so young. All of the BABYMONSTER members are around the same age as the members of NEW JEANS. In fact Rora and Hyein were in the same group together called U.SSO GIRL before each one of them went into the trainee program for their labels. So it was really important for YG to get the public to be on their side to let the girls debut. They needed to clean up Yang Hyun-suk (YG) public perception. Since he was involved in a scandle, they needed the public to be accepting of the return of YG to the company or at least in the capacity of producing groups. They needed to show that he is still competent to produce a group correctly. I think that the series did help in cleaning up YG's reputation in the eyes of the public. It also seem like they are trying to build a large fanbase even before debut. Both their TH-cam and Instagram have a lot of followers. So now in their pre-debut they have more "followers" than some 4th gen groups. Making them start with the potential of breaking BLACKPINK's records. It all depends on song choice for their debut.
