At first I thought this was going to be one of those edited bridge scenes that punctuate most computer/console games, montaged and cobbled together to form a ''movie''.... But the first couple of minutes in and I realised this WAS a movie! Anyone who has had to dispatch raiders, robots, supermutants, dodge bloatflies, axe radscorpions, make molerat and mirelurk pie, or fire a box load of RPG's at a Deathclaw will feel instantly at home in this budget, but utterly realistic production. Acting - BRILLIANT (...all considered). Plot; Exactly as expected. Realism; Yep, that certainly did resemble the post-apocalyptic 'Commonwealth' of 'North America'. Right down to the 50's styling, and bottle cap.

The Mayor of the free town, in the black tall hat, is that, Doug Jones who plays, Saru, in Star Trek Discovery?

Why and HOW would people still be smoking in this or any dystopian future. Most of it seems so rough scrabble "survival" that no one would be 'growing' tobacco, much less making smokes. We have gone down from 55% smokers in the late 50s to 14% In the 2020s.

From someone who had little knowledge of the Fallout world prior to viewing, I was totally absorbed. Great acting, great story, great cinematography...in short, brilliant. And all from a fan production. Hollyweird is done.
