Hi ma'am.. thank you very much for the video.maam is the gap a problem for getting job in uk..i have cleared my MRCS ENT in may..after that i had a gap of 5 months during which i cleared oet, some online courses..is the clinical attachment must
@@anusara6190 hi dear. Your gap shouldnt be a major problem. Start the gmc registration process and side by side apply for all suitable ent jobs throughout uk. Clearly state the reason for your gap like preparing for exams or taking some time of before next major move whatever it is.
Very informative video about income Kindly make a video of expenditure and saving (if happens) in coming weeks 💷
@@drkevib Sure will be doing that one soon👍
i have bewn getting so many unsuccessful application. What should i do?
@@sachingiri3127 is your gmc registration done?
Which course is better for MRCS ENT? Just two course available? Do you have telegram, Twitter or LinkedIn so that many aspirants can ask you questions directly?
@@drkevib There are many courses available for mrcs if you search online and in Facebook but I just mentioned the one that I took. Please check the latest feedback by students before joining any course. If you need to ask anything personally pls leave ur email address here and i can contact you.
First video after a year gap 😢
😢I know... Will try more frequent videos from now
Can you make a video about the expenses
Sure
Im in my 2nd year(soon in 3rd) of residency in ENT in my home country....i will get gmc registration ...any chance i can contact you...... There is not many who have similar profile like you.... Please
@@hamzasiraj4764 Hi, share your email id. I'll reach out to you.
I could not find a website for IAM. Please guide me on how to approach and opt for the courses.

Can we give MRCS ent after MBBS + 1 year internship and I’ve cleared plan 1+2, and worked in India for 10 months
@@Yuge428 Hi, I think you are allowed to sit for mrcs but ideally they encourage people with atleast 2 yrs of experience in this field. For example if you are second yr pg in ent that would be the best time but if you think you will be able to manage them go ahead. Definitely check again with the college before booking the exams though.
Can I take mrcs part A during my House job (internship) .
@@aftabalilodro3890 ideally you should hv 2 yrs in the relevant field but it's not a must. If you believe you can study n pass the exam you can appear. But please double check with the royal college as well.
Mam what are the fellowship possibilities in UK post MS ENT?will we be paid during fellowships? What’s the duration of training in those courses ?
Tbh I dont have a clear idea of the fellowship pathway but as many of you wanted to know about it i will try to gather more information n share in sometime future soon.
Really helpful
How long did you take to prepare it ?
1 month.. but would have taken longer if it was ielts.
@entoscope2206 ok, thanks for the reply, I watched your videos before preparing for both parts of mrcs , and now for oet
@@unfilteredtraveller Happy to help 😊 best wishes for your oet 👍
In mrcs /mrcp registration pathway,is it necessity the mrcs certificate to be verified by EPIC like mbbs?
I was told to do so by GMC but u can confirm again
Mam can we get into uk training programe for ent after completing mrcs ent? Is it difficult to get into?
Very difficult and needs a proper portfolio preparation for getting into training here after MS ENT in India. It's easier if we come after MBBS

looking for study materials
How can we aply for frcs ent?.Is it possible after DLO
Hi doc..have been following ur videos right from ur mrcs guidance videos. Thank you. Cleared mrcs ent recently in oct 2023. Planning to move to the uk. I have some doubts. Can you upload ur recent pay slip video. In ur previous video the pay slip was from 5th of the month and also had relocation expenses. Need to have an idea about the average net pay.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Sure will do such a video 😊
Excellent.
Thank you
Plz make another vidoe on latest take home pay
Hi mam, seeing your video i subscribed to IAM for May 24 session. I recieved the study materials through mail. Since you are an alumni of IAM now, it will be of great help if you share your approach to read from IAM study materials which includes the timetable you made for preparing through IAM.
As a trainee will I be paid?
Yes definitely
Thanks, very informative video. Please make a video in details how to prepare for mrcs p- b ( dohns- osce)
How did you document all ur surgical experience during jrship and srship which helped u get nhs job after mrcs?
I didn't keep a record properly and no one asked as well. But it's always better to have your surgical record if u are maintaining one. For me during interview they believed what I said, didn't ask for any proof
Superb information Kindly suggest the books for MRCS Part 1
Sorry I can't recommend a particular book as I didn't read any materials out of what was provided from the coaching centre. One thing u can do is get hold of fawsia sheet and revise it, then may be buy subscription of emrcs if u are not joining a coaching.. and keep on revising the questions

What about someone who has completed DLO and then DNB ENT . Will it be regarded as SR ship completed(taking into consideration 4 years of Pg ) ?
Yes all your 4years of experience in ENT will be counted...here it doesn't matter if u do MS/DNB..as they only count the experience

Hello, I have done MBBS in 2009, MCPS in 2018, MRCPCH in 2023, what position NHS will offer me and expected salary after tax ?
Are you required to do on-calls as speciality doctor? If so how are they calculated?
Yes I do once a week on call from 5-12 am..but this depends on your contract ..this on call was already included in my contract so it isn't extra..but they pay accordingly for all the hours we do above the contracted 40 hrs /week
Hi, I'm an MS ENT already, i.e. an IMG. All i want to do is a fellowship. The ISTP. Can you please explain the procedure.
How much time will it take to clear ilets after completing MRCS Part 2
I did OET and it took me 1 month in preparation
Im not sure about IELTS and i personally feel it's more tough and we don't need to strain ourselves doing a tough exam..but decide yourself. I would definitely recommend to do language test in between MRCS part A and B as then u can directly apply for gmc once you got ur MRCS B results
Very informative video, crisp and concise. Thank you so much. 😊
Hi ma'am, just a couple of doubts - for non manned station, we neednt go to the college right?? -what attire did you put for the manned station?? Thanks in advance😊
That was because I gave the exam during covid time, I'm not sure if still the non manned stations are online. Will have to check that when you book the exam. I wore a plain t shirt and pants eutha jacket..so overall like a suit. There were people wearing official dresses, even salwar suits..what matters is just dress formally.
Lovely video! More useful than the official website itself
th-cam.com/video/MjYjy4--IxQ/w-d-xo.html Know how you can apply for the MRCS examination.
You are an inspiration ❤️
Is this being done in the operating room?
hello mam, my MRCP passing date has passed more than 3 years. what to do to complete GMC?
Hello mam; right now I’m working in at All india institute of speech and hearing as junior ENT consultant, I haven’t finished my SR ship yet….I cleared my PG last year only…is it good to do SR ship before applying for jobs in UK?? I’m yet to give my Part B I cleared my part A recently
Yes I would definitely say to complete SRShip and mrcs part b the get GMC registration, meanwhile you can start applying for jobs. If you want to come quickly you can come via MTI route but as u already finished part A I would suggest completing MRCS and get GMC registration
@@entoscope2206 thank you mam 😊
@@entoscope2206 also mam What about surgical experience?? Will that count ?? I mean while attending interview will they ask about our surgical exposure??
@@sanjanapradeep6289 definitely..it's very important

Hi. Is the patient awake?
Yes
Even when performing incision?? How can he not sense pain at all?
@@Kenteastwood-c4u while infiltrating patient will have pain but will reduce within minutes then once we reach annulus it causes some pain but bearable and we use some adrenaline + lignocaine soaked cotton balls there for few minutes if needed

I finished my ENT residency in Saudi Arabia total of 5 years and I want to do fellowship in Uk ?? Is GMC a must for all fellowships? And for ent no more dohns right?? Marcs part a then Mrcs ent osce?
Yes now it's called MRCS ENT OSCE not DOHNS. About procedure for fellowship I'm not sure but definitely you will need gmc registration to work here.
Mam is there significant jobs available for mrcs ent i am r1 what is the best time to give mrcs 1 and 2
Mam i have a few partical questions 1. Is there any discrimination with Indians in uk. 2. Do they offer consultancy to Indian doctors after completing ST8 3. At what level are you currently working. 4. How much money can you save per month. I would be grateful mam. If you could answer these questions
1. I haven't felt any. I think it's our attitude and the way we deal with them that matters. I feel people are more kind here. 2. If u entered training here definitely u get become a consultant. In non trainees like me we have to work towards Cesr and then become a consultant. 3. I work as an SAS doctor-specialty doctor. 4. If u are the only person working with a family with children to support then nothing much unless u do loads of extra shift. If ur partner is also working then can save almost 1 person's salary.
Hello Mam, I am an ENT specialist qualified in Turkey . I got my GMC reg. recently as I am an EU graduate. I have been offered ST1/ST2 clinical fellow Ent job. Dou you think it's a good idea to start NHS from that level? I havent passed MRCS exams yet.
As you are an ENT specialist i feel you are well qualified for an ST3 level job but due to lack of MRCS getting a job may be difficult so I would suggest joining this position and quickly applying for MRCS exams meanwhile as u will get NHS experience in the meantime and once u clear MRCS u can change to a better job quickly
