Both are correct in their views... How come someone has to carry with someone who was emotionally and physically attached with someone else for long time?

I will tell you something ive learned from experience, I dont know if it can be generalised but looking back, I've come to realise that going through multiple relationships serially, does definitely destroy a part of you that you once had with regards to truly loving someone and emotional stability. At least i can see it in my life.
