Why a bike chain is as critical as a timing belt for a car. Don’t let it wear out!
If you let your chain wear out it will destroy expensive components of your drive train of your bike. Using a chain checking tool regularly can help you avoid costly repairs by replacing your chain before it becomes a problem. Zero friction Cycling has a great website with information about what is the best hot wax lubricant as well as good information on what are the good chain checking tools to use. Using a wax lubricant can save you a lot of money in the long run by protecting your bike chain and helping it last longer. Also with any new chain you buy the factory grease must be removed with mineral oil solvent and denatured alcohol to help the wax work properly. Check out the Zero Friction Cycling TH-cam channel for more information and details on what lubricants work best for speed/ performance and chain longevity.

Planting Japanese Maples In Clay soil: site preparation
มุมมอง 3326 หลายเดือนก่อน
How to amend the soil prior to planting a Japanese Maple in an area with a lot of clay soil. Japanese Maples prefer acidic soil and clay is usually too alkaline. Adding peat moss and compost or a fine mulch like soil pep can help amend the soil. Also something like perlite can help with drainage. Plant in a location that has filtered sunlight or partial shade. I have seen Japanese Maples grow w...
Easy 5 minute fix for a Loose Door Handle on a Hyundai
มุมมอง 1.3K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
I had a loose door handle on my 2008 Hyundai Sonata and I was worried it was going to break if it had not already. It was making the door more difficult to open and also more difficult to close so I watched a few videos on how to fix a broken handle but I didn’t realize that all I had to do was tighten the bolt to fix the door handle. It was free and easy to do! Simply remove the black plastic ...
Wide snow shovel for efficient snow removal: The Original Snow Plow Snow Shovel
มุมมอง 8578 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Original Snow Plow is my favorite snow shovel! I have been using it for the past several months. It seems very durable. I think it will last longer than any of my previous snow shovels. I love how efficiently I can clear my driveway because of the wide blade on the bigger 48 inch wide model. It is a great tool to have for smaller snow storms that are frequent where I live. For deep or heavy...

He may have been incorrect about them being sensors, but regardless, cleaning it works. It won't work if the problem is internal, obviously, but that doesn't mean it never works. I was fighting with the thing for a good 30 minutes. "You slammed it shut hard enough for it to recognize it was closed." Tried that multiple times. Didn't work. "It was a coincidence because you left the door open for long enough." Again, tried that. Leaving the door open for a bit then closing it again, trying to lift the door a bit as I close it, as a whole it was left alone for a good half hour, but only after cleaning it did it start working. And it didn't even look dirty. Whether or not it's the cleaning itself or the action of putting pressure on it, or something else entirely that makes it work, it totally works. Being wrong about the reason it works doesn't mean it's total misinformation and people are gullible.

My Whirlpool microwave looks similar, its like 4yrs old and it is definitely confused about the door status. Sometimes we take out the food and the microwave keeps giving the reminder beep as if it doesn't know I've already opened and closed the door. I'm going to use your method to change the switches. Great video!

My problem was ice buildup behind the panel and a block of ice stopping the fan from running, and I have the kit (available online, which also includes that little probe that you clipped on) to add a secondary heater to prevent freezing. Letting it thaw overnight to see if there is an ice blockage in the drain. Thank you for the video.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You saved me hundreds of dollars and the aggravation of having to remove and replace my microwave. I have the exact same microwave and have had the same issue. The first time it happened a few weeks ago I unplugged it overnight and the next day it worked, so I figured it was a glitch in the electronics. This morning it happened again, but this time unplugging it had no effect whatsoever. My wife had me going out today to buy a new microwave, but before I did that I decided to check for a TH-cam video to see if anyone had a simple fix for the problem. This was the first video that popped up. I used some degreaser spray on a paper towel, cleaned everything up, then wiped it all down with some rubbing alcohol on a paper towel. VOILA! Problem solved. Couple of things though....those aren't contacts at the bottom, they're clips to hold the stainless trim on the bottom of the door. I believe it is the bottom of the door that needs to make contact with the bottom of the microwave, so cleaning the entire bottom of the door and the bottom part of the microwave where the door makes contact is essential. Not criticizing your video....if it wasn't for your video I'd be out shopping another microwave. Thank you again sir!

I am not going to absolutely dispute that the tabs at the bottom of the door are not contacts. But I just cleaned mine, and in the process, with the door already open, the inside light turned on, which suggested to me that the unit sensed that the door was now open. In other words, even with the door open before cleaning, the light was not on, mistakenly sensing that the door was closed. Once the light went on, I closed the door and tried the microwave, and the microwave worked.

You actually don't necessarily want to have both anchors at the same height. Unless the centerline is located equidistant to each stud, you typically want to make a delta calculation for your anchor screw locations. So if one atud is say 5 inches from center but the other stud is 11 inches away, you would do best to having one anchor lower than the other ao that they are having the same amount of gravitational force being applied to them. Something for others to keep in mind should they have studs that aren't the same distance from the center point of where you want your hanged object to be.

If you store a lot of uncovered or covered food in the freezer, in time this will cause moisture and freezing of the drip tray. I spent 5 hours solving this by removing the inner wall and defrosting it with a paint stripper. Water dispenser hose was also frozen. Next time I'll do it differently. If I go on holiday for a week or more, the freezer and refrigerator are empty, the power is turned off, the doors open and the fridge/freezer combination defrosts itself in a few days. At most a puddle of water at the back underneath, which evaporates automatically. When you get home, turn on the power and fill the refrigerator again. The two rubber hoses should be cleaned like in this video and dust should be removed once in a while.

Thank you for making this super helpful video! I have had this same problem with my 2007 Hyundai Elantra for the last two months. The grinding noise in Park or Neutral happened only occasionally at first, then more and more often. I took the car to my mechanic and the noise didn’t happen for him, so he couldn’t diagnose it. Sometimes the engine starts when the key is in the “On” position, so I’m thinking to disconnect the battery terminal before I attempt this replacement for that reason.

My dad and I did it almost the exact same way. Others sag removed the lower control arm but we didn't have the tools to do that so we did what you did instead. It was a learning experience but we got it done. The only hard part was removing the axle nut. It was extremely tight. I got a 2ft breaker bar and torched the nut for a few minutes and that finally worked. The old axle pulled out and the new one slid right into place and now it's driving back to normal.
