Nico has come a LOOOOONG way since this fight. His fakes for one in this fight looked like fakes, cheap knock offs you can spot from a mile away aren't the real thing. Also he didn't set up his kicks or body shots so he whiffed a lot or ate a cross for his trouble. Interesting to see his development. He won this one on pure athleticism and fight/bully spirit.

Why Yodlekphet didn't finish Seksan's leg ? To me it seems that he couldnt sustain to many lowkicks...

Ive been training Muay Thai intensively for 8 months and about 6 months in I was considering to label myself mentally and physically challenged. Simply because I couldnt seem to put all the aspects of the kick together in a timed coordination. I was at the gym almost daily, doing 100 kicks per leg on the bag. Filming my mistakes. Trying to correct. Im just about now starting to put the kick together. The kick is so deceptively hard to master. Looks so simple but its the opposite. This video is one of the best Ive come across. Its very instructional and the use of slowmotion and still frames are crucial to pick up on detail which most videos miss in real time. But remember all of you who just started, this video might give you a clearer picture of what to do, but it will take hours upon hours of solo practice before you get there. And film yourself. I only sttarted doing that 6 months in. It speeds up the process to see how much you suck. And it motivated you when after a few weeks you see proof that you dont suck just as bad as before.

Wait why is it bad to turn around instead of just making your back visible longer? I find turning way faster to be ready to defend or reattack than putting my leg down while showing my back to the oponent.

I think there is too much shoulder movement before the jab, this will tell your opponet that the jab is coming. Altough having great boxing skills under muay thai rules is not fundamental, I believe that punches should not be too much telegraphed. I would suggest to trow this jab without too much left' shoulder load before the strike actually occurs, and focus more on sychronize the jab with the ilttle step forward.
