I had a mask on , Idk why ? Was it measuring my oxygen? Also, they forgot to take me off my beta blockers prior to the test. They also inclined it every 10 sec and increased the speed. I got to a level 8 and wasn’t out of breath, yet they said I failed, even though I reached my target heart rate. I’m so confused

I am scheduled to go in for this test. The hospital told me that I cannot wear a bra for the treadmill due to all the hookups. I do not see how I am supposed to exercise like this without a bra when it hurts not to be supported just sitting at a table. Even a sport bra without underwire does not give enough support and I won’t be able to exercise like this video. I am very nervous about the alternative of just taking the Lexiscan from other comments I have read on the Internet. Has anyone had any experience with this - namely being told you can’t wear a bra and what did you end up doing? Thank you

Do you have to hold the hand grip? That's not a normal way people walk. That would hurt my very bad back. Normal stride is swinging the arms at the sides. And no way could I run. I haven't run anywhere in over 20 years. My fastest speed is between 2.5 to 3mph on flat ground.

This test is brutal I was going a lot faster than this guy,normal fit person would struggle let alone a 60 year old with asthma like me

I'm in decent shape walk daily and work out at gym daily. But my hip is killing me and my knees are bad enough I can no longer run. I do a treadmill daily at 3.3 MPH and Level 3.5%. i am worried about going up to 4 mpH and 16% due to my arthritis. How do they handle that?

If you think this is hard, try a stress echo. You have to hold your breath immediately after you max out on the treadmill. Great fun.

Just here to give massive props to the OG for crushing that test and being a Cardio Monster! He makes it look so easy. This test is brutal and most people are in for a painful surprise.

Why do they continue administering the treadmill stress test when, so I've been told, the nuclear stress test is just as effective and not as dangerous... Thanks.

This is not the whole test, because i didn't see the man get undressed. Did he go to the studio like that? The important difference it makes to me, is that i want to know if they provide footwear that will not break my feet, as the footwear i normally walk in does not enable me to run or even walk too much, with my painfull feet.

How to know if you results are good? I'm 33 years old male. Total exercise time 15.35 (Prephase 57secs, Exercise, 10mins, Recovery 4 mins). My results are: Max load 12 Mets, Elevation 16%, HR 188 and BP150/80.

I gotta do a stress test in 2 days. Where I have asthma, fibromyalgia and sciatic nerve problems in my back. I told the person who called me and doing the stress test better stop the treadmill when I am in extreme pain or about to have an asthma attack or I am going to scream really loud and I also said if I end up having a heart attack from this test not only will I be sueing the hospital. I will be going after my primary care doctor as well.
