I'd absolutely love to have one. DO you know if the bucket can be ran from a power pack hooked into the tool quick connect in the unlikely event that the PTO or pump tapped out? I know a power pac could hook in on both sides of the pump there's just no connection there without Teeing in with 150 bucks worth of fittings.

Why do the new trucks have the tool attachment on the opposite side of the bucket? This applies to both center mount and rear mount.

Looking closely, it seems like that truck has the bucket for a center mount(behind cab) boom, not a rear axel mount. This affects where the hoses for the tool come out and end up get caught on the bucket when your working. Is this intentional

Ok let me stop you right there ive been operating roll off for 30 yes and my suggestion to protect your box and prevent it from shifting off the rails is before raising my boom i make sure my tail is extended out and then baxk slowly to the wheel rollers of the container then proceed to hook the cable on once in the truck winch up past the first rollers and release the air brakes and as your winching up the weight will pull the truck under the container as you continue to adjust your angle and keeping the nose as low as possible once 80 percent of it is on and there isnt any weight on the tail then proceed to lower your boom and and a safe point winch it in tight and lower the little remaining amount .... ive seen to many guys tip sideways cause they werent controlling the truck as it goes under the box 👌👌👌

O be honest with a skilled driver roll off is faster. This guy here was slow and not that good. I like the hook lift better but its slower when needing to turn cans quick

Never lower the boom THEN hoist the container. If the cable snaps, it's coming straight through the cab of the truck.

Can you do a test with the bins fully loaded with dirt. That's will be the real test. Also please used the high rpm on the pto on the cable truck.

Here in Europe, cable lifts have gone nearly extinct in favor of hooks years ago. I don't get why cable lifts are still the way to go in the states.
