I guess I'll break the ice and finally leave you a comment, Aaron (as I recall). Outstanding series and trip for you! You got some killer shots and footage! I don't recall ever seeing any pics or videos from there. Never set out to look. Stunning landscapes and animal life obviously as well. Sorry your trip was cut short. I found your channel early last year looking for Alaska stuff prior to my first trip to its interior. I watched all of those videos from your trip there then had to watch everything else. Great trips and outstanding work!
Thanks for breaking the ice, and for the encouraging words 👍 South Georgia is definitely one incredible island ! How did you find Alaska ? We absolutely loved it there, great memories ! Cheers
Its people like you that have fucked this coast up!! Keep it to yourself and just appreciate the place for what it is
Thanks for watching jasper coat 👍
What time of year was this? I’m heading down in 2 days
Wow, enjoy ! Feb / march
Your videos are awesome. Can you upload your video with proper SEO optimization? It will help your channel grow fast and increase your viewers and subscribers.
Thanks 👍
Awesome trip and great photos mate. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate, much appreciated 👍👍
Gorgeous looking place those icebergs were magnificent 😊
It’s a magic place hey✌️
When were you there, did you have any landings in South Georgia , thinking of going Feb 2025, thanks
Yes we did a few landings, some which were incredible, I show them in the next couple of episodes 👍
We will be hitting you up for some images to frame 🖼️ sensational images 🙌🙌
For sure ! Have been looking at getting some prints done 🙏
The human footprint in Antarctica is already out of control. I hate to think what it will be like in 20 or so years.
I have never been to Antartica so will have to take your word for it. South Georgia seems to be in a far better state than it was 20 years ago though as far as the wildlife is concerned..
Actually, it's well controlled. Monitored and protected.
Good to know 👍
7:10 thats a beautiful shot!
Thanks ✌️
So wonderful to see SG is still pristine. I have been inspired by Shackleton's story and would love to stand at the man's grave.
Yes the first I heard of South Georgia was from the Shackleton story ! I believe the eradication of rats/ mice a few years back have helped SG to get back to how it once was.
Some amazing shots and experiences to last a lifetime. Was this part of a larger trip to continue on to Antarctica?
Cheers mate, this trip was South Georgia only, most ships do seem to just stop in on the way to Antartica but I was keen to spend as much time exploring SG island as I could 👍
What did they take from you during the robbery? Being robbed sucks man.... sorry to hear.
It’s a pretty long story, but thankfully money only (would have hated to lose my camera gear before the trip ) basically jumped into the wrong cab, was taken to a very dodgy location where a group was waiting… would have made an interesting TH-cam ep for sure 😂 but focused on forgetting all that and enjoying the rest of the trip 👍
Fantastic! Great to be able to see something as extraordinary as the landscape and the wildlife from such a remote corner of the world.
The landscape is what surprised me the most, absolutely epic !
Excellent 🙌🙌 we’ve been looking forward to your Shackleton homage 👍
Awesome trip!
So excited to see more of this!! 🐧
Nice one Aaron! Lucky you don’t have sea sickness. 😊
I do get a little sea sick occasionally, but was pretty good on this trip !
Aww. I recognize 747s mangled ears anywhere. Great video! When you said it was crazy, was it because bears are all around and that it was unnerving not knowing if they'd pop out?
@@clammeh73 Thanks ! yes I found that part of it pretty crazy - but in a good way ! especially the late afternoons when most had left or gone back to their accommodation, feels pretty wild not knowing what was around each corner, truly incredible place !
Great video, I enjoyed watching and beautiful land, I love bears especially when they are small, I think the mama bear and 4 little ones is 402 and her cute babies, l loved 💕
Thank you, and I agree - could sit and watch bear cubs all day !
The mountain man museum is a must.
Agreed ! Beth took the kids there while I was mountain biking and they all loved it 👍
Nice work mate
Cheers mate 👍
Good for king George Whitting and just off port Kenny are good scallops
Did u make the drop in hatch bucket?!
Yes I made an ally one. originally purchased a plastic hobie one but they are poorly designed and don’t fit well in the compass kayaks..
Fabulous footage. I'd never walk around there by myself.
Thanks ! Yes ideally it is better to walk with a group ✌️
Enjoy your trip, look forward to more adventures 😊
Thanks mate 👍
Enjoy 💟 😊
Love it mate!! Good to see thee ole knife getting into it! Never knew Razorfish were in bunno 😲👌, premo premo watching!
Mate that knife is unreal !!
Hey, nice video. Those orange rocks remind me of the east cost of Tas
Cheers mate ! Oh really, we are heading that way next summer - can’t wait 👍
kayak's half the size of the great whites swimming under you.
Ha yeh could well be I guess 😬
IF CLOUDS ARE WATER EVAPORATED FROM THE SEAS LAKES RIVERS DUE TO HOT TEMPERATURES THEN HOW COME WINTERS COME WITH FAR MORE CLOUDS THAN SUMMERS WHEN THE WATER OF THE SEAS LAKES RIVERS ARE FREEZING COLD ? * * * IF CLOUDS ARE THE TRUE SOURCE OF RAIN HAIL SNOW THEN HOW COME IT DOES NOT ALWAYS RAIN OR HAIL OR SNOW WHEN EVER THE WEATHER IS CLOUDY ? * * * DOES IT RAIN HAIL SNOW FROM THE CLOUDS OR ARE CLOUDS JUST A COVER UP FOR THE OPENING OF THE BLUE SCREEN CALLED SKY ? * * * *
No idea sorry mate 😂
Angus Expeditions is Back People!! 🤜🤛🎉🎉🎉🍻🍻🍻
Haha quarterly episodes these days 😂
I'm not interested in the nonsense with your kid. Ridiculous.
Ummm ok mate 😂😂 maybe do yourself a favour and don’t watch then 👍
Yeah it gets a little cold in the winter. Average Jan. temp 1deg F.
Ok not sure I could cope with that 😂🥶
Pinedale is definitely a hidden gem!
Absolutely ! Would love to get back there one day !
Amazing cinematography and story telling. I've visited Devils Tower but now I want to climb it!
You definitely should, the climb was challenging but a real highlight for me ! cheers 👍
Nice to meet you too ❤
Sadly 11 years ago the glacier along the highway came all the way down to the lake. It has retreated an awful lot.
Wow that’s crazy ! Unfortunately it’s not the only one, they all seem to be retreating at a rapid rate !
What a privilege to be that close...beautiful
Yes a privilege for sure ✌️
So good! 👌
Thanks oldmate !
Keep em coming mate! 🔥
Cannot wait to get out there and heal
Perfect place for it !
Good video - my tip would be to lose all the blur effects and just do a clean snappy edit as the video content is good
No blur ! Gotcha- cheers for the tip 👍
Great video with a lot of great information for those who never had the chance to get there. I will be there for the first time with a group of photographer friends this July and I just shared your video to our group messenger and everyone appreciated all the effort. One quick question, are you fully free to walk along the park without a guide? Thank you for your time and looking forward to watch more of your videos.
Thanks ! Yes you are free to walk around with no guide, their are a few rules / guidelines to follow though which they talk you through when you arrive .. I should also mention that during the day there is generally a wait (not overly long) at the brook falls platform, the ranger takes your name and calls you over once it is your turn. enjoy your trip it is unreal !
I’m going next summer. I can hardly wait. You got a great video of 128 Grazer and her two cubs at the falls!
Thanks, would love to get back there soon ! Enjoy your trip, it will be amazing !
My coworker got one night in Aug of 2025. I’m already packing 😂 she keeps worrying that it’s August and there won’t be as many bears. I say a pile a skat and a seeing Grazer would make me happy. And Otis, 747,856, 910s and on and on. Have a great trip.
Great 3 videos - thankyou.Very pleasing landscape photography. You have a great eye for a shot.
Thanks, it’s an amazing stretch of coastline !
I went to Venus bay

Teamwork makes the dream work. Good job boys 🤙
True that ✌️ cheers mate !
All around amazing job, great video, narration and production.
Appreciate the comment, thanks for watching ✌️
