This is unecessarily too wordy. If they cut out some of it, it would feel better paced,
Seems like a lot of true crime thriller books have this same pattern......it's too descriptive....more descriptive then .. POV or narrative.... I don't complain much about free books but I definitely know what ur talking about 😁. U want a good book...with an ending that will blow ur mind ...... Listen to 6IU SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME HERE. omfg!!! Only book that ever shockedme
Wonderful story. I couldn't stop listening to it. Thank you.
🎉
Started out slow, but pickup midway.
Huiuuuge yawn fest.
This book is bloody awful. Paper thin characters, riddled with cliches. The broken girl who had lived a life of savagery and abuse gets no help, not sympathy whatsoever. And she's supposed to know that Henry is trying to help her? She's trying to fix herself. He is uncomfortably (squirmingly) obssessed with this girl and marries her, so he can go on doing what has been done to her for her whole life. Yeah. That'll help!! The characters aren't remotely real. They make no impact. I kept picking it up to try harder and then throwing it down in disgust. Please don't waste your time reading this. You will feel worse about yourself if you do.
Thank you!!
Excellent Penmanship ✍️📖 Thank you 😊🤗
One of the best you will find on TH-cam. The pace is perfect. The main characters are utterly believable, flawed but very human. It's a very sad, but beautiful story. Yes I cried. More than once. Than you for such a treat.
great book
This was a good book
Great story. Thanks
I cried from beginning to end!! If YOU NEED A GOOD CRY? This is it !

What a great story, highly recommend.
The narration is too fast, but it's not possible to slow it just a little. And I really hate women doing men's voices.
Slow it down urself. The 3 dots on the video its in ur settings. And if u don't like it .... find a new book or pay for 1. Stop complaining over free shit
What a rollercoaster of emotions listening to this! Must listen to the very end...I almost stopped during the boat scene. Glad I finished it.
Such a beautiful novel! So wondrously written, the weaving of separate lives, sharing mutual loss, love and the power of helping each to fight their battles and come out the other side. Thank-you.
Loved this, am going to look for more from the author ❤❤❤❤
The baby was conceived from rape. Why does this not seem to be a HUGE issue for people wondering about Eve's inability to love the baby??? Rape, trauma.
What a great story. Cried happy and sad tears at the end.
Great book
👍👍👍👍👍

Love this book. ❤❤❤
Omg!!! Love this book
Omg! This was so good. New fan here
Hope the preaching doesn't go on too long
What a wonderful story! Great narrating...
I'm at the end and I kid you not - if there was ever a *tissue warning* needed on a book - it would be this one. Such a lovely wonderful sad lovely wonderful ending. <3
Erin Mallon and Janet Megzer, narrators.
Had to come back to say - if you liked this book - you'll LOVE 'The Widow's Watcher' by Eliza Maxwell. <3 Don't miss it!
Oh good grief! How utterly disappointing. I thought at first it was going to be a typical female writer, writing about the only thing they know, apparently ….. the angst between mothers and children but no, it’s much worse than that. Mother suffers angst with older teenage daughter, comes to the inevitable love/ hate relationship, family dies, mother tries to commit s****de because of guilt, along comes stranger to make all right again and start a new family where all will be ‘perfect’. If I’m giving away the plot, it’s not because I got any further than 24:09. This is what ALWAYS happens with women writers these days. They have taken ‘write about what you know’ to ridiculous levels. It is absolutely infuriating that I have wasted 24 minutes of my time once again on such drivel. WHY can I simply not learn from my mistakes. NO women writers! Gaaagh!
