Wow - this is incredibly flexible! I've been perusing all of the Vocodec videos, but this is the one that really "speaks" to me. Will the Vocodec be available in the near future? I'd love to know more about it - yes, even with all the videos :)

What a fascinating video. The camera quality feels so "old youtube" but the audio quality feels modern. The overall effect is as if it were a modern video intentionally filmed with an old camera. Super cool! Ahead of the curve with polyphonic aftertouch too!

As a steel player myself that sounds more like a cheap keyboard synth. No offense to your design but it wouldn't cut it for my pedal steel group.

This is amazing, ive been thinking of making something very similar with a 10 string trigger system and a ribbon sensor ,for the slide on the neck. And not sure yet on pedals and knee levers. Im thinking of using arduino uno with a sparkfun sheild for midi or daw. I am no good at the programming. I need help with a super simple drag and drop software. What did you use? As far as microcontroller and sensors and software. Anything you can share. I just want one for myself its not a business idea

Sorry, The sound is not something I like,but,the pitch bending is interesting. Keep at it. I am not sure if the slightly overdriven sound is how they should be demonstrating a new take on a classic sounding instrument. I am all for new,so I will keep an open mind. Sam Australia 🇦🇺

Hope you actually can get this produced. The mechanical pedal steel is due for a modern tech update that can just sound and feel just as good but get rid of the mechanical nightmare of the underbelly.
