🇵🇹 Uncover the Secrets: Óbidos Medieval Market 2024, 4K Video
In this 4K video, we take a walking tour with you around Óbidos Medieval Market. This year it takes place from the 18th to the 28th of July.
This festival is the most popular of all the medieval festivals organised in the summer.
I enjoyed the festival despite the number of people.
A word of advice, if you are with small children, buy extended tickets:
It's called Caminhos da Rainha.

€13 (4-11 anos)
It includes visiting an additional area with a petting zoo, the opportunity to hold a sword and try on medieval items, and children's activities such as swings and walking.
The whole evening, we were there, and various performances and activities were going on. You will not be bored.
There is also a great variety of food and drinks. The only thing at the very entrance to the castle where the stage is there is a restaurant with very nice prices!

Yes September is the best time as there are far fewer people. You can sunbathe and swim in October. So everything will be fine.

There are two options here either, go to restaurants away from the shore or come on non crowded days.

Is September good hot weather for albuferia ?
The best. Most seasonal August is the month when the Portuguese go on holiday. The weather is the hottest and the crowds are high. And in September all the children go to school. It's less crowded and the weather is consistently warm. The ocean is also warm at this time, averaging 22 degrees Celsius.
Old town is pretty but mainly good for younger people to get pissed and act like clowns.

It's a shame, you don't get great service everywhere. It's a problem in Portugal. The service is more or less good in Lisbon.
I have been to many countries on this planet but Portugal is the one I love, when I retire my dream is to buy a house there, the country, the people, the food, the weather is the best in the world, what more could you want

It's forbidden to film right inside the airport and shopping centre. In principle, it is forbidden to film the surroundings in Portugal.
