@@FORANWFS haha love it!! Passed down by the forefathers to shred!!
How much money is cost was this.
@@shawnellis5959 I think it cost me about £1200 GBP In total
How many bags of concrete did it take?
I didn’t use ready mix concrete. I think this used up 4 tonne of 10mm ballast and 12 bags of cement
Nice little park! Can you share what recepie u use for the concrete? Thanks!
Hi mate. Thank you! I’m in the UK So used a mixture of 10 shovels of 10mm ballast and half a bag of cement per mix. Hope that helps. Get building!
@@T-Cuts-Mined thanks🙌🙌🙌
This is awesome. Perfect. Not too big not too small. Very tidy work 🤟🏻
Much appreciated!!
how long is the length of the spot?
I think the flat in between the banks is 2metres
Cool pour, a copping would of been sweet so you can pop
Cheers bro. I did think about it but have always kind of like the rolled top
I was just about to take this piss for not being HARDCORE DIY . My appologies you did a fantastic job dude. Very impressed. Thank you for the tips and making this video. I’m going to try one myself and I didn’t know if I could do it bit by bit because I’m all by myself and I was worried about the cement drying up before I could lay it. This really helped me. Thank you very much Cheers from the United States !
Neatly done!
Great stuff! Def some BoC vibes on the last one!
👊🏻
That bouncy hardcore sounded good to me…shush you Danny H laughing 🤣🤣
Or his look-alike 🤣
What a vibe man❤️
It really was next level. ❤️👊🏻🧠
Great to see record shops are still a thing. Nearest recoed shop to me is 11/2 hours away; Forced me to go digital as soon as Serato was released. Searching for tunes online is soul less in comparrison. Keep the independant record shops strong while they are still about.
This place has been a hub for me over the years so was a real pleasure to be able to host this party. 3 Floors of vinyl. 👊🏻

Good times!!❤
Woop WOOP!
The Venga bus came to town Stumps!!!
what is the exact size or dimension ? thank you
Hi. Glad you like the video. It’s only about 450 high and comes out 800mm roughly. I just freehanded the radius with some bendy plastic pipe😀
up strokes for pro skateboarding , spread it upward , up .
Luckily I don’t take myself too seriously like I guess maybe you do.
@@T-Cuts-Mined and slob it into the corner .
so cool
thank you!
great video. I thought about doing something similar. I am curiou show many bags of quickcrete or approx cost for this ?
It took roughly 4 tonnes of ballast and around 20 bags of cement I would say as we don’t have the ready mix concrete i the UK. I think in total with timber and re bar included it came to £450 Hope that gives you an idea. 👊🏻
Man, this is a sweet little spot! Do you have an approximate amount of bags of concrete used?
Glad you like it! It’s a lot of fun. In the UK the ready mix bags aren’t really that readily available so I knocked it all up by hand. Roughly a tonne bag of 10mm ballast and 8 bags of cement. (A mix of 8 shovels of ballast and half a bag of cement) get building!
@@T-Cuts-Mined awesome deal, buddy, thanks for reaching back out to me, looking forward to building a little spot in the backyard myself!👊🏼😎💯
How much would you say this cost you roughly when all was said and done?
Whole thing cost me about £700 I think. That’s the full project
Where can i buy the lathe?
I’m afraid the lathes all sold out in an hour.. if you go to my T-Cuts.bandcamp.com there are other releases still available 🙏🏻
@@T-Cuts-Mined ah hell, at the very least glad to see people recognize your brilliance 🔥 keeping jungle alive, keep on being the best t-cuts 👊
@@pc-0343 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻thank you for the kind words. Trips me out how quick they sell out haha
sound in this video is very low, to quiet
Nope. Music parts are loud but when you speak it's much lower. Too big diferrece
So sick
Thanks dude
It's nice to be an older skater now when we can buy land and material and make our own spots. haha
Yes exactly that!! Low impact gnar hahaha
Trying to build somethign similar in my side-yard, what transition size did you use and how high is the deck for the qp?
Hi mate. Highly recommend it! Had so much fun and use out of it since it’s been in. Both my sons skate it regularly as well now so that’s an added bonus. the transition is only 375mm tall and 850 deep. I basically just adjusted the string/pencil technique until my two points met if that makes sense? (Ie coping/lip-bottom of ramp.) Hope this helps. Please feel free to hit me with any other questions
What do you do then mate
Plasterer and bricklayer by trade but try to do as little as possible nowadays haha. This is in my garden.
@@T-Cuts-Mined haha thats the way, i thought you had a bit about you by the way you pulled that rod, not just an amateur having a go fair play,,, are you the one making the tunes ive been liking and commenting on?
@@danreynolds4170 yes that’s me..! Multi tasking.. Been a dj since 94 trying to make it..haha Obviously needed a back up money source so got into the building trade. Only do a couple of days a week now though since the music has been busier. Glad you like the tunes. New one coming soon!
@@T-Cuts-Mined mate i love the building and love the jungle im not a dj though lol thats to hard for me,, im a brickie doing a lot of drives and patios trying my hardest to stay away from site work lol,, hope it works out and you end up where you want to be, i subscribed to you the other week looking forward to the new tunes, all the best mate
@@danreynolds4170 yeah I just do residential work. Not one for the sites haha, sod that. Nice you’re a fellow man of the trowel!
Stayed up til 3am researching backyard parks and shade options after seeing this brilliant build. Thanks for sharing!
Glad i helped spread some inspiration. Skateboarding saves lives ❤️
What’s the dimensions of this? 2 x 4 x 12?
I think it was about 300 mm high and a metre deep. 2 m wide.
@@T-Cuts-Mined thanks! About to start my first project and this video made me choose concrete over wood because it’s a lot quieter than a wooden mini. Definitely taking inspiration from your design
@@ventureskater336 if you give me a minute I’ll get you the exact measurements .
@@ventureskater336 it’s 900mm deep and the total height is 310mm.( that includes the curb) The curb is 150mm deep and 70mm high and the flat bank height just before the curb is 260mm. I hope this all makes sense. You can contact me on Instagram if it’s easier . @djtcuts Glade this has inspired you! Plus concrete is definitely far superior to timber. My two sons now skate it all the time and it’s still like new.
@@T-Cuts-Mined thanks for your measurements! Glad i came across this video
That wasn’t a tutorial. It was a video of the tracker playing a song with a shake effect.
You’re correct… I have added a tutorial since this went up..
great build man
Appreciate it mate. It’s got my two sons skating a lot more so it was worth it for that alone!
i start to think that build can serve as the jack for all skate tricks...at least 50 tricks maybe
Cool, are you doing this on a deck? 👌🏾
Beats made on the Polyend track then run through the line in so I can scratch over the top of it. 👊🏻
Our boy 🙌
👊🏻👊🏻
boom
Thanks Stumps 🙏🏻👊🏻
Great work ! The finish looks like nice and smooth, after the concrete had set did you finish off with another product or sealer ?I'm trying to get a smooth concrete finish but my trowling was not as good as yours and need to some how smooth it down to make good ?
Thank you! I only sealed the curb edge with a clear coat lacquer the rest I left as it was. Perhaps grab a rub brick to go over the top of yours? That might help smooth it off ? You could always then paint or clear coat sealer afterwards then. Hope that helps
Always wet down the forms and agrates . Before your pour . Crete .
I did mate thanks though 👊🏻
How on earth did you make that TBC thingy?
The music do you mean?
@@T-Cuts-Mined no I meant the overlay right the date, time and timer on top. (I can’t really explain it
@@ATFsinners1994 I use a vhs filter on an app callled inshot. I hope that helps
@@T-Cuts-Mined thanks so much lad, cheers
thank you for this
Thanks for watching!! Only thing I should have done was use a wooden float for the earlier stages of the concrete rather than my Marshalltown trowel which should be used more for the final trowels. Happy building
nice job! did you left joints for expansion? did it crack?
Thank you! No expansion joints needed really as the slabs were only roughly 2 metres in length. Just butting the next slab up against works just fine. Otherwise you’ll end up with a gap and us skaters know how much those cracks mess with our heads haha
So awesome !!! Can't wait to build my own skate spot in my backyard !!
Super cool diy skatepark in Upstate NY: th-cam.com/video/FMaqKhHYg2E/w-d-xo.html
This is so cool. I want to build something like this at my house in Brazil. What is the height of the quarterpipe and the radius of it? :)
Hi. Glad you like the video. It’s only about 450 high and comes out 800mm roughly. I just freehanded the radius with some bendy plastic pipe😀
This is the most chill pour I've ever witnessed. Gave me anxiety! That concrete is curing while you talk! 😂
Labourer called in sick 😀
Thanks man! Just got my tracker and chopping up an amen is high on my to do list :D
Nice one!! They’re so much fun once you get your head round it. Enjoy.
