I found in Pittsfield that if you disagree with anything that they City wants to do some of the people there government will say that you’re being negative they tell you to get involved but then when you do by letting them know how you feel about something they say you’re negative

Hi Mike I wish when the City has a major project history instead of just saying that they’re going to take 12 properties. They should list the properties that they’re going to take don’t you think?

I live in AZ now and most of the valley uses 60 and 90 gallon barrels. I have one 90 gallon barrel because the 60 was often not enough. It is just the three of us as my youngest has moved back home. I'm not familiar with the engineering of the trucks that pick up the barrels, but might the size and cost of the truck be the reason Pittsfield is opting for the smaller barrel size?

Put it back like it was in the early 90s and stop playing with the layout. All these people not from Pittsfield making decisions about how Pittsfield should look and what will work. Im a BMC baby too.

While this viewer is not a resident of the Berkshires, I’ve long had an interest in this beautiful region, its people and seemingly endless list of natural and cultural attractions. Kudos to Pittsfield Tonight for producing this informative and entertaining promotional video. If only residents of Middlesex County could purchase Pittsfield Rye breads. Carry on, and bon appetite. One minor quibble with the promo: it’s a pity the soundtrack wasn’t a bit more chilled.

Welcome back, Mike! You obviously are filling a need for local communication. It’s a shame we can’t have differing opinions on public policy and not take it out on businesses. At some point we need to be able to discuss policy and just try things knowing sometimes it works and if it doesn’t we make adjustments no matter who is in office. There is no utopian way as extremists of any party would have us believe. Looking forward to watching your independent productions not controlled by a corporate conglomerate.

A much-belated thank you to Mike for all he has contributed to the community with Pittsfield Tonight. It’s a pity this timely and important program has come to an end, but what the program has accomplished should not be dismissed. The mayoral debates alone represented a significant contribution to public affairs reporting, and Mike did a splendid job hosting those key events. While this viewer is not a resident of Pittsfield, I have a longstanding interest in the Berkshires, and wish Mike and his many supporters all the best as they continue in their efforts to make the city the best it can be.

With the 2023 mayoral election in the rearview mirror, it’s unfortunate to reflect on Mr. Krol’s impact on the race. Surely such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic resident should have made a greater impact on the electorate. Kudos to Mr. Krol, however, for his passion and commitment to the city of Pittsfield.

/wow!The last time I saw North street that deserted was back in 1949, when I walked from Oatman Ter, (across from Carr Hardware, next to Barney's speed shop) to my home in Cresent St, (across from Jubilee Ter off Frances Ave) at 1 oclock in the morning. Never passed another soul the whole walk home never forgot that. and this desolate shot reminded me of that walk. Thanks for sharing . And we all survived Covid. didn't we. ThankGod for that one.
