Check out the Vulcan riders association. There is a link to the cam chain tensioner repair (Gadgets page.) Also a link to purchase the replacement parts. Do the right side 1st. The left looks impossible but once the end cap is off there is room to remove the tensioner. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Also, there is a guy recommending turning the engine to a certain position. His cam chain slipped off during the process. Good luck.

i was hoping you were going to do a video showing how to remove the seal and spacer and replace. Was it necessary to remove the inner primary? In my service book for my 82 FXR it looks like it can be done with the inner primary still installed

Yeah my one bolt flange is now chirping on my ‘74 Shovelhead. Hope mew gaskets seal it when i put them on.

Mine (96 Vulcan 1500C) does the same shit . Glad I found another. Except mine is much louder & continuous…

IMVHO: This is my experience trying to use wire ties to remove my 2004 Honda Shadow 750 front tire - 120/90-17, spoked wheel. I wasn't able to get the tire off with wire ties; however, I did use them to get the new tire back on and they seemed to be the way to go to install a new tire. However, I still managed, apparently, to pinch the inner tube when installing the new tire (don't understand how I pinched the innertube, but the tire was flat the next day, so small pinch). Again, I would recommend wire ties to put on a tire - they're just not any help when removing a tire. Maybe, if it were a smaller, more pliable tire, then the wire ties would work to remove a tire. In the future - when I attempt to repair, once again, the front tire on my motorcycle - I'll try using tire irons to remove the tire from each side of the wheel rim, respectively, and then (possibly) pull the entire wheel through the middle of the tire (I've seen TH-cam videos of people doing this, but, again, maybe the tire was more pliable I saw pulled through the center of the tire, in these TH-cam videos.)

My it’s having the same issue but the resistance its not damage. when it sets for like an hour it has a hard start condition im thinking that’s what causing it

What did you spray it with? I fought mine for most of the winter... turns out my new PAUGHCO 2 into 1 header pipe flanges did not line up with the bolt holes in the exhaust spigots in the heads... some modifications MAY be required when using aftermarket parts, and hell, probably also HD parts as well....

Manufacture a pedal stop and a spring for the rear portion of the pedal for tension return.

I have the same problem, I may enlarge holes as you did

its a stock kawasaki ignition switch, what about the 75 ohm resister i found in speedo cluster wiring.

Wait i did find a 75 ohm resister on the speedo cluster wire bundle, but it shows no breakage or burning, looks normal, is that the anti theft diode.

I have a 2003 vulcan classic 1500, it does the same thing yours does in video, I cannot find that resister under my speedo cluster like your video shows, please where can i find it.
