Started drinking beers at 16 when I was working with masons 40+ hours I was treated like a man and I was given a beer every lunch

I work with people with disabilities and back in the 90s a guy would pick the client up who was in a wheelchair. Well what I mean by picking him up he's the strap the guy and his wheelchair in the back of the ute. Then he drive to his unit about 30 minutes away doing 100 kilometers an hour or in America 60 miles an hour. Leaving him downstairs under a tree in the wheelchair and go upstairs and drink beer with his girlfriend and friend when it was time to go home he'd strapping back in the back of the ute again and him drive home. Another guy when he was supposed to be working overnight would bring beer and his PlayStation and sit in the lounge room playing video games, drinking and smoking.

Very interesting and good fun at the same time! One addition to the point about control handover from KSC to Houston: In the early days, also during the whole Apollo program, it really happened at "tower clear". It was changed with the beginning of the Shuttle program, when the SRBs came into the picture, to T-0, which is defined by ignition of the SRBs.
