@@DopeTechFever I have no partitions Ive uninstalled linux and then when I try make partitions I cant make logical or activate the partition so I can install windows and when I boot to the usb stick that I install windows from it shows me this error

Yes, this way of installing windows is often problematic. If there's no additional data on that disk, I recommend a full format and installing windows on an empty volume. You can then make partitions as needed afterwards.

It depends. If the laptop and monitor are connected with a thunderbolt cable, it'll be charged. HDMI will not do that. You'll need to plug in the AC charger.

While the laptop boots, connect the external screen. Once the boot sequence finishes, close the laptop lid. It'll go to sleep. Simply wake it back up with a click of the connected mouse. It'll start showing up only on the secondary screen.

I see. Maybe you should boot back into the Ubuntu USB drive environment, open terminal, and run *sudo update-grub* command. That might reload all the images. In addition, in Windows CMD, you could run *bootrec /fixmbr* (enter) *bootrec /rebuildbcd* (enter) *bootrec /fixboot* (enter) Maybe that'll reset the boot order.

​@@DopeTechFever I tried formatting and installing clean windows ( after I deleted all the boot partitions and recreate it with windows usb installer) But it still exists only when I try to boot a flash drive that has ( mini partition tool) in this situation it show me the grub screen I tried fix commands it did nothing Just a reminder I never installed Ubuntu i jut boot to a flash drive that has it and pressed try not install

Well, it shouldn't be. But if the laptop is producing a lot of heat, it may be good to keep the lid slightly open for better ventilation under the screen.

But I can't reboot back into the window again...if I restart the laptop....I goes again to gnu version

Hm.. maybe there's an option of clipboard sharing on your laptop that is disabled. Check under Settings - Clipboard and make sure the "sync across your devices" is set to the "automatically sync" option. It may help.

Hm.. maybe there's a way to access the boot manager from your BIOS. If not, maybe you'll have an easier time access recovery options from a windows bootable USB media. Also, just in case, try pressing Esc key to see if it automatically boots into Windows.

@@DopeTechFever I followed some other advice and then deleted the linux from the system directory, now Laptop is not booting and showing just reset system again n again on the top left and on pressing f9 and then booting into hp is the only option, please help with the fix!!
