Die Heiberg kenne ich garnicht. Dieser Film ist sehr seicht. Bis jetzt vermisse ich jede Klasse. Aber es war 1943, also der Krieg ging ins 4. Jahr. Also 81 Jahre später wirkt der Film absolut nur noch billig.
Schöne Dialoge, Gestik, Mimik und alles in deutscher Sprache mit schönster Grothe-Musik.
Kirsten Haiberg, vertritt Zarah Leander würdig!

Eigentlich war Zarah Leander für die weibliche Hauptrolle vorgesehen! Da sie aber nach ihrem Urlaub nicht aus Schweden nach Deutschland zurück gekehrt ist und Vertragsbrüchig geworden war übernahm Kirsten Haiberg ihre Rolle! Ich frage mich immer wieder wenn ich den Film sehe wie er wohl mit Zarah Leander ausgesehen und die Lieder geklungen hätten!

@Gacha Films ... They may have "claimed" it but did they "block" it too? ... If not, it needn't have been removed because SME would simply receive royalties based on the advertising revenue generated.
@Gacha Films ... I just checked the Internet Movie Data Base for all the company credits for this film and Sony Music's name is nowhere to be found. As far as the soundtrack was concerned, that was originally issued on an American Decca LP but even there copyright would be held by United Music Group. In any case, I fail to see how SME can put in a copyright claim for any part of this 20th Century Fox movie. I personally would have "disputed" it as a technical fault and left the music where it was. However, if there is anything spelled out somewhere that SME do indeed have some copyright ownership in this film, I'd like to see it in print and will then stand corrected!

Very disappointed with the film
You can find the additional scenes in the original film if you miss them!? (I think the original version was too dull and too much based on fancy clothing and set ups ... too much time was and is still lost in showing those things which are not important for the story telling!) -- It is always the story .. if the story is good and makes sense to the viewer then the film is good, otherwise not .. clothing and scene builds are always of less importance.

A story film should be 3 reels long that is 1 and ½ h .. otherwise it is not considered entertaining. One has to go to toilet and eat and sleep etc. etc.
