So, not a big deal with torquing the lower ball joint to 150? I maxxed out my 80 pound torque wrench and was planning on buying a 200 to finish the job.

I'm about to change my spindle and hub on my 06 f250. It's been many years ago since I've done one, but it wasn't an f250. I searched and searched. All I came across was for 4×4's but I finally found yours 2×4. You were clear and understanding, you did a good step by step, only improvement you could make would be lighting and an adjustable tripod so the camera will be at same height or looking down as you work. 👍

I read somewhere that grinding the intake will reduce your low end torque. Is this true?

Has using the lock collars tack welded held up so far? It seems like a reallt smart idea. I bought a similar rack off amazon and am brainstorming how to mount it. I don't weld but i might need to find someone to do this for me. Rest of my kart has been fabricated with bolts so far

You need to bias the intake port. Also, using a flashlight to add light inside the port will help greatly. Good video

Is this winch enough to pull the cars up the ramps? I was going to get one for my 16ft car hauler i mostly use it for cars but sometimes ill end up towing a 5000lb suv . I keep reading online that you need a 4500lb winch and up . .....how does your 2500 do so far?

That’s one nasty ass grinder burn! I hate when I do that. Seems like I would learn but some how it happens every couple of years. I see some rack and pinions on eBay for around $75 for EZGO golf carts that are a little narrower. I remember my dad setting his tow in and out on our 57 orange and white Ford. Jack the front end up just under the ball joints, Spin the wheel and use blue carpenters chalk close to the middle of both tires, spin again rub the center with a nail to leave a narrow black line. Then he would take a long stick and drive two nails the distance between the marks on the front of the tires. Then check the distance on the marks at the rear if the front tires. He would adjust so the front marks would be about a 1/4 inch closer on the front marks than the rear marks. Depending on how tight your steering is maybe a little less.
