Forgot to tell ya last time we spoke on here (last week?) that the females in our house decided to occupy my brain by learning how to make Paracord Bracelets after seeing how much people were charging for bracelets made in Regimental Colours. They bought me the stuff I needed and all I had to do was follow the step by step videos on TH-cam (fkn dozens of channels). I've been making most of em in Royal Artillery colours and giving em to any of my old Gunners mates who want em. Then my missus said "why don't you ask that fella you talk to from Kingswood? He's in the Artillery unit in Whiteladies rd you said" As usual she was right so I'm asking you now if you or your mates would want any. The bracelets I've done are mainly Blue and Red but I can add Yeĺlow in thinner Nano Cord if wanted easily enough. Ive also got various camo coloured paracord and different buckles etc. Let me know if your interested and we can sort something out. Daughter #2 has bet my missus a tenner that when I ask if your interested that you'll reply "F**k off you old c**t"😂🤣 her reason for why you would say that is apparently because your from Kingswood 😂😂 Funny thing is I'm Glaswegian, my missus is a Cockney and daughter#2 although not born in Bristol sounds Kingswood born and bred and tells me to F off on a daily basis..Weird!! Wow, never seen such shrapnel hits before! This game still surprises sometimes.

Loving this 👍 But you keep giving the quick movement order to your troops. That's why they are getting exhausted. Exhausted is bad. It decreased their combat effectiveness. If you use quick movement constantly you should issue them in shorter bounds with at least 10-15 second pauses in between. I'm not criticising btw, just giving a pointer 👍

The mission title translates into "Pride of Bavaria" Also, Gebirgsjäger should translate into mountain infantry. "Jäger" is used for light infantry (unmechnaized) and mountaineers dont have any IFVs or ICVs. Hope you find it helpful

The key terrain in this battle was the eastern hill as it was the highest point on the map and contained a large two-storey building that dominated the battlefield, the village was the next most important terrain feature as it offered the most cover. Giving those up to the enemy unopposed was a mistake that cost you dearly.

I like your style and delivery in easily digestible bite-sized chunks. The only slight (and it is slight) criticism I have is how fast you move the camera around when moving from one part of the map to another. All a bit roller-coasty. The only thought that comes to my mind is the one i "figured" the hard way playing the same map. Fighting in denser area on a shorter range would be a better choice if you're outgunned. When i played this map i was beaten by enemy IFVs because i put much into the edge houses. Basically, the same problem you almost got into just from opposite direction. They got spotted - they got pummelled down. So i think having a house between you and enemy IFV is a must. Ideally, having a small gap where you can see possible approaches, and also a way to disengage safely. Thus, being behind a wall of houses will likely force your opponent to risk entering the town at short range instead of picking your units one after another while they can't do much against. Most of your units were exposed to enemy at distances of ~500-1000m which is above their effective range. The only thing that kept them from being destroyed is being not seen... and that holoween didn't have much IFVs. The post got bigger than i expected, so to summarize: Being at max. effective fighting range while balancing view and exposure. Having a safe way to disengage. It is not the solution, but it sometimes helps having these things considered.

This was a pretty well fought battle. The only thing I would have done differently is how I'd hold with 1st platoon. With the lack of blast charges and good AT weapons (RPG-7s aren't cutting it) I would have gone with an internal defense in depth. It might have given more options to pull back if things went wrong or you get the the eventual armor push. Though thankfully forming an external line worked really well to cut down their probes.

That is indeed a riverbed. It goes all the way north to Lebedynske where there is a reservoir. As a matter of fact blue were able to move in your sector along it since they already had control over half of the sector to the north of you, including this "balka". "Glyboka" means "Deep".

Ouchy! Your best bet I think is to GTFO with what's left of that platoon. Its risky but its better than sitting and waiting to take an auto cannon round. You might be able to relocate the PKM to cover.
