Hey ! Nice Videos! I am also planning on getting the dji avata 2, what steps did you take , legal wise, to fly it correctly in Romania ?
Thank you ❤️ First of because the drone is over 250g I had to take the a3 exam. After that the drone needs to be registered on caa.ro, a code is issued and it has to be displayed on the drone. Also if the area is restricted like an airport or urban area I have to either call the airport tower to have permission to fly or other competent institute depending of the zone.
Great flight! Try out the easy acro modes for flying sideways or directly up and down, even with the motion controller. It needs some getting used to, but it works 👍

Great flying. I picked up my Avata 2 almost 2 weeks ago and it’s been a blast. I’m only using the motion controller right now but I’ve been getting some pretty smooth footage. I got to chase two ATV racers around 100 acres. Wow was that fun! Hopefully this weekend I can get some more flying in at the races. But it’s so crazy how easy it is to fly for someone that’s never flown FPV like myself.

Nice video! But if there is a chance of crashing at 8% battery, at what percentage should you aim to end the flight? I was amazed that you crashed there... How does the drone perform at the end of it`s battery, do you feel it lacks power, or does it just die out like that?
At 8% it lacks power. That's why I couldn't avoid that small bump because even if I pushed the throttle to the max it barely raised the rpm. It didn't die in the air, but once on the ground it didn't let me start again. I think the best is around 20%. It drops fast after that so be careful

Wow. What do you think of manual mode vs sport? How much faster is it? I think i will be sticking with the .motion controller for a while. Glad you got it back and it is ok.
It truly is awesome in manual mode, but also the risk of crashing is higher. It depends what you want to do with the drone. Cinematic? Sport mode. Diving and going fast and have fun? Manual mode

There is no Throttle expo in avata 2 😢😢😢😮😮😮😮
the only way to adjust throttle is to do the fcc hack, it unlocks full speed in all areas.
What is the maximum speed?
In sport mode 40 mph, manual mode 60 mph. In this video I used sport mode 👍

Thank you ❤️ The settings are different in different locations but I used either 30/60 fps, 1/60 or 1/120 shutter. D-log M, ND filter 16/32 depending of the lighting conditions, ISO fixed to 100 and white ballance to 5200.

Flying from the comfort of your vehicle - nice one. Did you have any RC connectivity issues?
I did have some connection issue when I was the farthest away, about 1 km away begin a tree but that's to be expected. I was flying with the motion controller not the rc controller 👍

Smooth and sharp flying 🙂 Did you change any rates for MC? I see no shaking around the frame in your shots 👌
I did put every metric on max, so I can use all the speed sport mode allows. It takes a bit of skill to fly at full speed low to the ground without shaking or sharp turning but I've flown it extensively in the past 3 weeks so I know what I'm doing lol😄

@@nilauberge6574 rocksteady. Thank you, I got the hang of it pretty easy but rc controller unlocks the drone to its full potential. I just received my rc controller today so pretty exited
