Faces are a bit different indeed. Personally I usually lower the mouth and raise the eyebrows of the imported face, both by a step or 2, so that it seems less tense/angry in game; but it's merely details I guess. Anyway, even if we always can criticize the Mass Effect trilogy in some ways, it is still a very very good trip.

There's no should, except one in the game: You should the guide the Guide away. The right choices are the choices You make because you want to make them - that's what playing the game is about

A couple of tips for combat (not 100% sure about the PS controller buttons, but I think these should be right): Powers: When you're using your powers (or your team mates' powers), as you tried to do with Sabotage - hold the (right?) shoulder bumper to call up the Power Wheel - aim the centre of the wheel at an enemy - THEN choose the power Changing weapons: Holding the square (?) button will only toggle between the last two weapons you used. To change to a completely different weapon - hold the (left?) shoulder button to call up the Weapons Wheel - click on the weapon you want to use (choices are pistol, shotgun, sniper, and assault rifle) - the four weapons at the bottom are for Shepard. The four on the left and right of the wheel let you change the weapons being used by your squad mates. Note: Some squad mates can specialise in specific types of weapons. It's a good idea to put points into those skills when you level them up, and tell them to use that type when you're in combat.

Understanding the dialogue wheel is important in ME. Generally speaking, dialogue options on the left of the wheel will give you more information. You can usually pick all of them, one after another. Explore them before you choose something on the right. The options on the right are usually alternatives. They will move the conversation on (or end it), and so you can only pick one. Note: - The top right response will typically be a more diplomatic/ conciliatory response, and will sometimes earn you "Paragon" points. - The bottom right option will typically be a more blunt/ aggressive option, and will sometimes earn you "Renegade" points. - The middle option is more neutral but it won't earn you any points at all. I would suggest you only pick this if you really hate both of the others. Tip: You don't have to, but it's a good idea to be consistent and pick mostly Paragon (top) or mostly Renegade (bottom) options, since a high score in one or the other will allow you to put more points in the Charm or Intimidate skills when you level up. These skills can open up new (better!) dialogue options, and can be very helpful, especially later in the game. Sticking mostly to one or the other will also give your Shepard a more consistent personality. Entirely up to you to choose what you want, but hopefully that will help you to shape your Shepard the way you want her to be.
