In the Fall of 2021, I began recording my tennis matches for fun. Tennis has been a hobby of mine since childhood, and I started playing when I was 8 years old. Though I stopped playing at 16 to explore other interests, I always found my way back to the sport and learned to love it again. Tennis is a great way to stay active and meet new people, and I hope to use this platform to share my experience as an amateur player and showcase my matches. My channel is focused on tennis matches, where I review the highlights of the games. Additionally, I believe that the challenges and lessons learned in tennis can be applied to life, and I look forward to sharing those insights with you.

I went on a business trip to visit a client site and had the opportunity to play a round of golf with Anh Vinh, who is a member of the HVGA as well as the America VGA. We had a great time, and the dinner was excellent!

Danny you play USTA? T2 flex leagues are usually about a level lower.
@@donnienguyen2294 ill try 3.5 Usta and see how I do. I used to play 4.0 Usta.
I played pink shirt in ALTA. Good player but he has some serious anger issues.
what Line? Red is best player but great playing all. Thanks for sharing!!!
Yea he is good. But not good enough today.
I naturally make enemies!
Sorry to break it to you, you guys are not 4.5. If do, then I’m a 5.5
Hate to break it to you, you are 3.5 😅😢
when the dude in Red double faulted the game away, I wanted to scream.
@@tjwisdom8584 give the man a break he is like 65 trying to get some exercise! Glad to just have tennis players not pickle ball
Which neighborhood are you playing for? Ours is also at B1 level
Why is he looking at his watch after every point?
Apple Watch controls the phone and I track the score each time the point ends. I use the watch to update the score so you can enjoy the match. :D
Assumed you all got rained out on last Saturday? What level you guys this year?
@@jhampdoc Still B1. This match was line 1. Last week was line 2. Team captain is mixing up players to be more well rounded.
Glad you decided to stick around haha Looking forward to playing with you more often!
This looks miserable.. why would you not reschedule the courts are drenched
I'm all for people having their fun. But this is dangerous. No reason to risk tearing an ACL.
@@cd2_ yea they didn't want to drive back the surface wasn't that slick so we decided to continue
athletes are undervalued its not ur fault, yes u should be getting more support both emotionally by fans and financially. this will change in the future
thanks for the comment, nice to see a promising comment!
Historically - in ALTA - there is way more drama/unfriendliness than there needs to be. That is the main reason I quit men's ALTA. I play mixed because I found a good team of people I really enjoy - but even when you love your friends and team - you can't escape the players you play against and there is almost always drama to talk about from that weekend matches. People act like ALTA is a league that plays for a cash prize and that's just a terrible mind set. The best advice I can give is to find a partner you enjoy playing with (which it seems you have) and be prepared to laugh at the people that aren't having as much fun as you and make it a game/mess with them. For example: if they start cheating - you cheat right back and laugh about it until they stop cheating. But if it ever stops truly being fun then it is time to step away. Maybe play some pickleball haha.
Hey Acing! Let's have a rematch, it's been a while!
@@ReflexTennis yeah we can play sometime. Been playing a little pickle ball the past month and got away from tennis for a while.
I know exactly what you are saying. "You didn't beat me - I beat myself." That is another one I have heard. I am a 4.0 player, have been playing off and on since 1980. I feel that tennis attracts real assholes and the competition brings out the worst in people. I don't hear stories about bad behavior in running and cycling communities. You mentioned bad behavior I would add: talking to oneself, scolding oneself, making cutting remarks, complaining, making excuses, gloating. What is my solution? I avoid the doubles league in town where I would be forced to play with bad characters - I restrict who I play. I avoid competition for the most part (some exceptions) this enables me to hit, crack jokes if I want with my opponent, get the exercise and work on my game. We can do serve and return drills or just hit. I think the problem with tennis is that you are swinging something, it gets your juices flowing, you can get amped up - when you swing the racket it can be like a weapon and this creates a "war-like" atmosphere. And of course singles in tennis is so close to boxing - one-on-one combat with no place to hide as in a team sport.
Singles are more personal and I think because mostly due to two single guys playing late at night and no one is around... you can't but be nice to your opponent. ;)
Totally get where you're coming from. I'm in the same area as you. Also in B1. It really does help to surround yourself with friends and a team that shares the same mindset as you to keep persevering. I'm glad I have those type of people to enjoy this sport with and don't let toxicity into my life. Those guys you beat, who accuse you of not being correctly in B1 are not B1 players if all they want to do is hit bangers all the time and cry when someone is outsmarting them. Hopefully one day our paths cross and we'll play some great tennis. Stick with it and best of luck!
What is your subdivision's name? I might be seeing you soon! Captain will be putting me at line 1 as always.
@ReflexTennis Hudlow TC but there could be other hudlow B1 teams
great stuff! I have a lot of videos under 5.5 ultimate tennis and I get trashed in the comments because people assume it's 5.5 USTA lol! It didn't stop so I just started putting 4.25 USTA
Thanks man

Oh wow it í! I am from Pennsylvania I fly down to Orlando 10 years ago played him in finals DOUBLES Vietnamese. Tournament w. Ben haha
Vietnamese people are not as good at tennis as anyone else? Going to the tennis court make noise, bet, drink beer, smoking, and say obscene things.
Haha! People are the best aren't they? Nice playing my friend! Hope we'll play again soon!
Definitely sandbagging! Isn't this you playing at 4.5 T2 only a few months ago? th-cam.com/video/xIZN28d2_-c/w-d-xo.html
Definitely not a sandbagger! Both players are USTA 3.5 level players

The coach looked like he was playing with his non dominant hand. He was at 50% effort tops while giving you those bagels and breadsticks
You sound like loser in real life.

I wasn't expecting him to get it back, but you're right!
Mike is a beast!
This drives me crazy at the rec doubles level. The returner should not be calling the ball long unless his partner who is sitting on the service line missed it. They are in the best position to call it long and if they don't as in this case, then the server should assume its good. Only calls returner has a good look at is if the serve is wide of the service lines. Still the returning team should confer with one another if there is disagreement and when that happens the server gets the benefit of the doubt.
what's the string in prostaff classic and tension
I think during this time, it's the wilson NXT? Yea but I've switch to the poly tour pro from Yonex.

Great playing here. I'm on an A8 team currently, but ran into a team out of Atlanta that had an ex-ITF player on their team, LOL! Glad to see everyone's equally matched here, makes for a more fun match I think!

Sooooo what are you checking on your watch after every point? lol 😅
The watch connects to the phone and it’s to change the score.
If one "bad call" that was on the line is the definition of "VERY UNSPORTSMANLIKE PLAY" I'm baffled. Very neat that you have a computer checking the lines. If so, why not use it at that moment to check the call?
Dude replay the point. The ball was out. Your yelling and cheering after your opponent makes an unforced error was intentional. That’s not cool. Grow up.
I did use the app during the match. We argued and it was clearly out and the opponents starting being a$$holes. Definitely need to mature up. If you’re part of that team then reconsider why play tennis. Also this when we started to come back in the second set. Either way we won 3-2 and advance to the semi finals.
...at 3:49 vball is 7>9 inches inside of both lines. Several people need glasses, contacts, and a clue...
@@ReflexTennis The ball was in. Just in case you don't know the rules of tennis, 99% out is still in but the ball at 3:49 was 100% in anyways. Cheating is not cool. Grow up.
I wouldn't rely heavily on the app to make calls. Earlier versions of this app have issues with call quality, and you wouldn't know unless you played the match personally.
Bad call at 3:49! LOL. Entertaining match!
What a pathetic cheater
agree, I'd never play again with a guy like that. My policy is unless I'm 100% sure it's out, i'm not calling it out. There's no way on earth that guy can be sure the ball was out at 3:49.
Ball was 8 inches in, from deep and wide...so both receivers are cheating or blind
What exactly is the argument about from 35:09 - 37:53? Can't make out what is being said, LOL!
It’s human nature both were very competitive. I believe they were bickering about the score and forgetting the score. And they were both arguing about different gestures mean and because he didn’t call a ball out or what not which ultimately affected the score. Which escalated to a shouting match about bad sportsmanship etc.
I loved this tracking tool :D
