I think with the "To by, or not To By" paired with "Inferno" might be hints that we are getting a literature dark world in the church. Inferno is a piece of The Divine Comedy by Dante, following the narrator through Heaven and Hell. It's where the 9 circles myths originates (I think.) this makes sense to be a part of a church dark world.

Church is looking shakier for chapter 4 due to the holiday house teases. I however think this could be from susie and kris going over to the holiday’s house before they go to the church. Do not read the following: Ice-e voring ralsei lines up to my theory that every new chapter will have a new fetish character. We already got one in chapter 2 the pattern will then be confirmed

It’s worth noting that we’ve already had one Kris ending fake-out. Toby’s intent with the end of ch 1 was to have everyone think he was going to be violent. If Toby did one end of chapter fake-out concerning Kris’ nature, why wouldn’t he do it again? Anyway, the evidence that Kris opened the 3rd dark fountain is indisputable, but where’s the evidence he made the 1st and 2nd?

You haven’t proven that Kris is the Knight, as your demeanor suggests. You have proven the following things: - Kris knows a lot about the inner workings of Dark Worlds. - The fountain at the end of Chapter 2 was premeditated for at least 2 days. - Kris wanted to open a Dark Fountain for some reason. Kris was into the occult, as proven by other evidence in the game. They may have discovered their dark knowledge through this. Also, being the Knight is not the only reason one would want to open a Dark Fountain regarding their TV. Although I won’t state the other reasons one may want to open a Dark Fountain, the Internet has done plenty of that for me. Thus, this video alone does not prove that Kris is the Knight. Your other videos may do a better job of explaining this.

(WALL OF TEXT WARNING) since the ending in chapter one confirms Kris is being controlled by the player we dont know what route they would take in the game! my theory does not involve Gaster since its all "Gaster this and Gaster that" theres more lore heavy characters that are not Gaster. anyways my theory is after Asriel left for Collage Kris had NO one to stand up for them at school as such they got picked on more and MORE since there was not someone the other kids cared about there that the other kids wanted to look good for as such Kris became depressed and one day found a strange book in the library that they had never seen there they took it home and in the book theres everything about dark fountains there as such Kris made the first dark fountain and told Ralsei the entire thing about the Roaring so that Ralsei could act as a safety net. i have a head cannon that its possible for Lightners to change how they look in the dark world so Kris did that so that they could later meet Ralsei for the "first" time with Susie. this way Kris could have fun adventures and have a reson to live with being careful as to not cause the Roaring. and heres another reson why Kris might have made the dark fountains other than wanting a reson to ya know live in that book i brought up earlier their was most likely something there that Kris wanted ether for themselves or to keep someone else from geting it i mean think about the power the create entire WORLDS with real PEOPLE is very strong and dangerous. i mean if any average person could make one it would happen when someone droped a knife when makeing food so part of my theory is that only a few people can make dark fountains and if you have/gain/learn that power something bad happens when it is not used for to long. so we get a depressed teen who is trying to stay ALIVE while also stoping world ending CHAOS from accruing and bring the SOUL into all of that it makes it SO much worse so Kris would be balancing not causing the Roaring while also not makeing some other really bad thing happen while dealing with school bullys and a entity that CONTROLS THEM and the only way to stop geting controled is to rip their own SOUL OUT OF THEIR BODY. yes this theory is dark but i never said it would be all sunshine and rainbows. also if your haveing mental health problems or anything like that please reach out to someone!

I honestly hope that Kris isn't the knight simply bc that would be the most boring conclusion to the story. Kinda like the ending of that one Blaire witch game where it's revealed that you're the villain

I just realized that after they close the fountain in chapter 3, Kris is gonna have to carry that giant tv all the way across town to the castle town

what if the player is an angel of control and Noelle is the angel of resistance or submission depending if she if on the normal route or weird route and I think Kris with the they them pronouns is because of the player and Kris I think every one knows about the Kris and the player at least subconsciously because every one uses Kris' pronouns as they them and they probably only know that because of their subconsciousness but they don't actually know about the player

I’ve recently really come around on Kris knight (it’s now my third favourite knight candidate behind Dess and my personal theory which I kinda stumbled onto by accident and found the evidence and foreshadowing afterwards) Kris (and Dess) are the two knight candidates who would probably be the best story wise with what we know so far. Deltarune isn’t a puzzle we’re meant to solve, it’s a story and I don’t think we’ve been given the pieces needed to solve it yet. Which is why if Kris knight is a red herring that probably means that the actual knight would have to be just as good or better story wise and would be someone that couldn’t be easily predicted or would seem outright impossible.

Still can't believe Kris Knight simply because I can't fathom that, if kris created the foubtain at midnight, in 12 hours only the annoyng dog got in the fountain before Noelle and Berdly.

I do think Kris is the knight, but if they AREN'T, I think the next best option is Papyrus, since I can see him being manipulated into making the dark fountains, and I can ALSO see him just making the fountains for the same reason Berdly nearly made one at the end of Chapter 2.

Could shambling to the library in the middle of the night to sneak in & turn the laptop on so it's on when Noelle & Berdly get there first in the morning be why Kris ate a whole pie (they were super fatigued & famished) & why they were tired enough to sleep through class again?
