There's a plethora of comics and stories that all tell the same story. Little known comics are hidden gems. Stories like Supermans origin, they have multiple iterations. From Clark to Goku to "Mishka" (Russian Clark Kent). I Revere the classics, and enjoy the lessons in the shorts.

Good work once again. How do you begin your research into token events and the outskirts of some of these events? Can you check publication dates and then read to see if they’re involved?

Is contra 3 actually on it, or is it Super Probotector again, wich we got here instead of Contra too :D I was playing Metal Slug the other day and man - it was kinda more brutal and hard than I imagined it to be. Was my first time playing metal Slug. Nice book btw.

You should try reading Batman: White Knight by Sean Gordon Murphy. He has been the only person to get Harley right in twenty years. She's fun, smart, and sexy, plus she's kind of the brains behind the whole story, while not being the villain per se. Finally some justice for my girl.

i'm followng the CBH 1998-2004 marvel comics guide and the first one it says to read is inhumans #1-#12 im having a hard time following it, can someone tell me if its a good way to start with marvel comics and please guide me

I have to say that despite Family Values being as full of questionable dialogues and actions- the ending really got me. I won't ruin it for anyone, but if you can make it past the first few comics, it is defintely worth the ending.

The order of events is a little whacky, since In All The Land takes place before Clamour For Glamour (Reynard didn't get his glamour yet), and issue 33 takes place even before that. As for In All the Land, it looks similar as 1001 Nights of Snowfall, with all the artists rotating from one segment to the next, but it's a contiguous story instead of several short stories.

I miss the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship. I hope they bring it back.

The Cindy miniseries are more self-contained regarding the rest of the Fables universe, but they all share the artist, the same one from the issues you're talking about in the video, Shawn McManus.

So funny, I actually gravitate toward art like this in comics, especially on covers. I love when stuff is more experimental, even in the superhero stuff! Covers, to me, sell you on the tone of the story, and Vertigo just gets that so well! From Preacher to Y: The Last Man to Fables to Swamp Thing. I’m reading books of magic currently, and the covers are just crazy. I love that vertigo just gives you another flavor from the internal art with their covers. Thanks for this video, btw! You are right, I’ve been on the fence for this book for ages but I’ve never been able to look through it to see if it’s worth picking up. This one and the encyclopedia… think I’m happy enough to just have the covers as is in the deluxes. Any chance you’ll do the encyclopedia as well? Cheers!

FYI, the Fairest In All The Land OGN takes place after issue 20 (or, after the third TPB, Return Of The Maharaja). The last two TPBs are more tied to the Fables main comic ending. And the fourth, Of Men And Mice is a Cinderella story in disguise

The convergence stuff is just fun fan service to me. I think its were i started my single issue collection lol but it helped me figure out what i liked about DC and find older really cool stories. Im sure after reading so many good new 52 stories it mustve been a slog to get through

I think Jack Frost's adventures were kinda pointless. Even more so with that ending.

Well Hollywood gof their gands on her and decided to shortcut her outfit for Suicide Squad. Then Margo Robbie became the new face of Harley just like Robert Downey became the face of Ironman. But Margo is only an ok mellow version of Harley. Then the game studios and animation houses embraced the Margo style, keeping her in the mainstream vision. Then....the radical feminist activist latched onto her and we are now at current Harley from Suicide Squad game which vasically mimicks a generic radical feminist. On the tangent, the comic industry, just before Hollywood decided to go down a lighthearted lesbian path with the Harley and Ivy nonsense. It kept her design the same but it tip toed down the Rule34 path with both Harley and Ivy and spawned a few knock offs. But the one thing missing in all this change is the dedicated complimentary sidekick to Joker that made Harley so perfect. Her being his sidekick became more of an afterthought. Hollywood did a nice job of making her a good sidekick in the first Suicide Squad. After that, her and Joker as a team just dissapeared.

So will you be making a video on the Vol 16 OHC of the main series that dropped today?

I found that kind of "copy pasted panels" funny in tom kings batman run, when Bruce and Selina are talking at the beach... you could clearly see that the artist didn't want to draw 3 thousand panels of the same thing. 😄

Harley is like every other character who is good until they gain mainstream popularity then they get fundamentally changed. Then the things that made them great aren’t there anymore.

Junebug ties in to Fairest comic. Also, it's a good time to read them all, including the OGN before the last Fables HC. And only having 10 issues left is a bit misleading, as issue 150 is also the last TPB, 22, by itself, and has 5 or 6 issues worth of pages. There is also the 16th HC with issues 151-162, which is set to release in May, if I'm not mistaken. It shows some stuff that had only been alluded to during the last volume, but overall it's not a needed read at all. There is also Everafter, that takes place after issue 150, but not only it is skippable, I find it awful.

Definitely an interesting approach with mixing the PS4 and PS5 libraries together alphabetically! And thank you for the kind words and referencing my video. That wasn't at all necessary. But happy to see I got you sharing your collection. You'll love Forbidden West whenever you get around to it. And you've got my vote on setting up a Streets of Rage display.

Go get Darksiders Warmastered and Darksiders 2 Deathinitive ( I do prefer the original version of D2 though). Usually Cheap to get now. BTW "Days Gone" is an amazing game. It's very underrated, because it got criticed at launch a lot for it's performance and Price. Wich has been fixed soon. 14 minutes into the video and already a lot to say here 😅

Hello sir was I supposed to read the Batman comics before suicide squad because in the first volume it is said that jokers face was skinned off and is in the gcpd but doesn’t that mean it takes place before suicide squad?
