On my way down to Tan Son Nhut to go home after my tour, I caught a hop on a C-7 Caribou along with several civilians and their chickens and a Air Vietnam stewardess. Sweltering heat, doors open, noise, all of the innards of the aircraft exposed, bucking and snorting along when one of the engines starts backfiring and belching smoke and fire. Loud alarm bells ringing and .I'm thinking oh Shit! I survived a year and on my way out, I'm gonna' die. The Air Vietnam stewardess loses her lunch adding some ripe smells to the story. After 15 or 20 seconds, everything back to normal like it never happened. God bless those workhorses.

I watched the entire 12-part series. It is absolutely filled with false and inaccurate information regarding the history of animation. Seriously, this shouldn’t exist as it will seriously mislead anyone hoping to learn anything about the subject. Such a shame no one bothered to fact-check anything about this. Please don’t waste your time on this…it’s just not worth it.

I've watched countless interviews about LS and I have to say, what a solid guy Gene is - I would love to have a friend like that. I also love the calm and polite demeanor of the Southern Men - us boys (myself included) from the Northern states could learn something from these fine men
