My name is Yordan. I am an autistic adult who used to be an alcoholic and a drug addict.
Setting myself free from the grip of my addictions I decided to make this channel to help others with similar issues. I want to bring light into an overlooked issue that people with neurodivergent conditions are far more likely to struggle with addction and mental health problems. Keep fighting you are doing great. The importance to the parents to get aware of their kids behavior is crucial but like you said about your mom she has ASD she didn’t know better, thank you for sharing the root of your addiction keep fighting for your healing journey. Good luck

Nothing upsets me more than their glamorization. It destroys peoples lives whilst others benefit, even with regard to smoking. People aren't consumers of these products. They are consumed. I am sorry what you've been through amd although you obviously accept responsibility I hope more people realize who the victims are and who the bad guys are. Although I cannot fully comprehend it the courage of people like yourself in beating this makes nonsense terms like weakness and limitations. I hope you experience life so deeply and honestly you are rewarded with everything you lost in your toughest times.
Thank you for your kind words! It is a reward enough for me that I escaped that prison and now life slowly starts to set in place. As for the consumed this battle takes place everywhere nowadays, it's not only drugs, it's social media, technology, and materialism in general. It's a slow and painful process but I think people are waking up.
I avoided substance abuse only because family was full of terrible examples even deaths. I am 58 and I was diagnosed formally with ADHD at 57 and self diagnosed with ASD 9 months ago. Your videos are so helpful both with regard to my familys struggles and my own autism. Thank you
I'm glad you stayed away from substances even though it came from negative family examples! I wish more people are able to do that before it harms them seriously as drugs and alcohol have become almost ubiquitous in our society.
