Life in a Park home with Brian
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 5 พ.ค. 2024
My husband and I had been looking to purchase a Park Home for our retirement and we were looking to live in a friendly community. We had looked at many social media platforms and didn't find one that actually gave you a view of what it was like to live in one. I thought that this could help with some people out there if they are considering living this life style. Since I and my husband just moved in to our place, I thought it would help from our perspective. Plus I thought it would be interesting to share our other adventures that we experience.
Auchmithie 1
In this video I share with you our trip to Auchmithie, a former fishing village in Angus, Scotland. There is also a video of one of my performances with a well known singer at the end of this video. Enjoy.

Queen Anne Ship Tour Part Two - Failure

This video was supposed to show the rest of the ship following on from Part One. Unfortunately some of my content got corrupted and so I am unable to show you the upper decks. However, there is a great TH-cam Vlogger @AgelessCuriosity that I can recommend who are currently serialising their Queen Anne travels. This amazing couple were on the same cruise as us.

@@SpiritualPat You would love it. It is peaceful.

@@DorothyBriggs-hs3ne I thought so too. Really picturesque.
love love love this...do you still have the shirt though lol Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Unfortunately the shirt was part of the wardrobe and was given back. Glad you enjoyed the short. More to come.
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_Brian looking forward to them!
Guessed correctly.😊
I believe you are the one in the striped shirt??
Beautiful park complete with swans. Lovely calming music too. Nice!❤🦢🦢❤🌲🌲🌲🙋🏼♀️👍👍👍
@@annetteenzoulis4870 We had a relaxing walk. Absolutely beautiful views to enjoy.
So fun! American Gazette was my first parade and still my favorite. Having a live band in each unit was amazing. Thanks for sharing!
@@Hetchel Glad you enjoyed it. On TH-cam they have the whole parade if you haven’t seen it already.
What out for Crocs 🐊
@@svenhelmstedt7992 Not this time. Something to do in the future.😂😂😂
Never been to disney paris, but been to disney world fl 10+ times ...would you recommend Paris?
@@AgelessCuriosity I would. Peter & I really enjoyed the experience. And that was in January when it was cold.
Hey I'm famous. A name check. Looks lovely. Enjoy
@@DeniseSackett Can I have your autograph?
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_Brian For a fee young man😃
Brian you are so talented. And what an amazing day out!
It sure was.!
What a great video. the cliffs look amazing, esp that part that almost acts a frame to the sea and the horizon. Well done boys. Alison & Ian
We now going to explore Scotland for awhile. Till December when will be cruising on the Grand Princess.
Go for it x
@@SpiritualPat absolutely perfect and 10 minutes away.
Hilarious Peter. Your'e like Stan Laurel to Brian's Hardy😅
@@DeniseSackett 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who's the Queen 😮
Hi guys! Watching yet another great video....such a shame you lost some of the footage...we've experienced this ourselves...and that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you realise 🥺 However, nevertheless you managed to pull a video together with what you have..so kudos Brian! Loved to hear both yours and Peters thoughts on the ship...you're both spot on, we all have different views and tastes which is what makes cruising great. We also heard similar views on Queen Anne from seasoned Cunard cruisers. Keep up the excellent work! Alison & Ian (Oh btw many thanks for the shout out...that was very kind of you!)
@@AgelessCuriosity I was really gutted for I had gotten up real early to film the upper decks but, it happens. I really enjoy watching your videos and believe other folks out there would love your content. And can’t wait for your future videos.
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_BrianThanks for the generous words Brian that means a great deal; thank you..

KFC
@@CP-xy1bz 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I do get that all the time.
Brian was still getting used to his camera when he filmed this video. It’s a work in progress and hopefully his cinematic skills will improve
It's unwatchable. He needs something to stabilize the camera, or else to walk very slowly, not jerk the camera around, not pan it quickly.
I really do appreciate your feedback and absolutely agree. I didn’t set the camera up right and need to slow down a bit when filming content.
Camera is flickering in the art section.
@@svenhelmstedt7992 Thanks. I need to look at that. I believe I had this section on the wrong setting while filming. Whoops!!!
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_Brian it may have been the lighting. X
@@svenhelmstedt7992 Looking at the camera I didn’t have it on the correct settings. Plus, I could have done this down on the editing part. 🤦♂️
Beautiful
@@paulqruel9290 Truly amazing site to see.
Just FYI its Loen not Leon :) and thanks for showing people our country :)
@@antsyhiker5675 whoops, that’s a bad mistake. So sorry for the mixup in misspelling of Loen and thank you for the correction. Loved the Fjords and hope to visit again.
Truly stunning views from the Skylift. We had snow up there when we went and had no idea there were actual paths by the Horseshoe!! If you aren't aware of why the Horseshoe is there look it up as its based on a Norwegian myth...great video! Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Thanks for the comment. Peter has looked up the Horseshoe and the meaning. I wish I had given a bit of context on it. But, found the experience breathtaking.
Did a glacier make that area? 😮😮
@@svenhelmstedt7992 The valleys have been carved out by these glaciers over thousands of years. To great this amazing site.
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_Brian flip that is the Norwegian grand canyon
@@svenhelmstedt7992 pretty much.
This was an amazing trip. Well worth the money and the views are incredible
Beautiful views x
@@SpiritualPat I thought the same.
Beautiful sunset
@@mrsclairerogers I thought so.

Love the music!
@@svenhelmstedt7992 Thanks. I’m experimenting a bit.
Oh what memories...Flam was a truly beautiful place and we were so lucky with the weather! You got some fabulous footage of the sail away as well...would you both go back? Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Thanks for the compliment. We both enjoyed Flam also. Definitely would go back again.
Morning x
@@SpiritualPat Good morning to you
Need to show off your lovely outfits more! Love these unpolished cruise vlogs 👏👏👏
@@lincolnroad3 Thank you and I am glad you’re enjoying the unrehearsed content. I believe it’s important to be authentic.
Another great video guys. That building was the performing arts theatre called The National Stage. That was a lovely part of town to walk through. Keep them coming! Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Thank you for letting me know what the Theater was called. And thank you for your support.
Mixologist?
@@DeniseSackett Thanks Denise. I remembered after the fact.
Next video should be in 4K/ HD quality
@@seatraveller I promise it will.
Another great video, bringing back all the memories again, and dont you both look fab dressed up for the evening. We agree that the little areas around the ship are great, but what a shame abut the tv in your cabin! It begs the question as to why bother putting a tv there in the first place!? Looking forward to the next one....byyyyyyyeeeeeeee 😉 Alison & Ian
Thanks so much. We are learning so much from watching your videos. Yes, they really need to sort out TV.
You would think the cabin tv would tilt After leaving the QE2 in 2002 are there any British staff apart from officers?
@@Paul-wu5qy To think about it, not really except some who work in the shops. The crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. No complaints.
That TV would annoy me. 😢
@@svenhelmstedt7992 I scratch my head on who thought that was the best solution. But, they are looking at this problem.
Sorry about the music drowning out our conversation at around 6:56 into the video. This was due to copyright issues
@@seatraveller Thank you. I didn’t pick this up in the editing. Hopefully it won’t happen again!!
Great video, love that shirt Brian! Can't beleive it took 4 days to get to Southampton..hopefully it wasnt as long to get back for you both! Alison & Ian
@@AgelessCuriosity Thanks. Long trip home, (9hrs and no stop)but made it safely. New computer arrived today new content coming soon!!!
@@life_in_a_Park_home_with_Brian Fantastic re the new computer....will eagerly await the next video!
