Hovercraft - Lego Fortnite
Welcome back, everybody! I've been away for a while while working on other things, such as Lego Fortnite's Expert mode (successfully unlocked all 3 special statues), Sea of Thieves, and along with some other games.
Today's video is featuring my first vehicle build since the update with trigger plates and retractable balloons: The Hovercraft! This creation came from an idea I had on whether or not you could alternate the balloons for a vehicle to gain/lose altitude.
As you will see, it flies very smoothly and is pretty durable (as shown when I ran into a small tree and destroyed the tree). Once you've reached your desired height, you can change to the smaller balloons while thrusting forward to slowly lose altitude while flying. With the four large balloons, it is even possible to fly a bit above the ice cliffs, which helped me easily arrive at AdoptdPrince's ice village during the testing phase of the hovercraft.

Ive always gone for the skies in this game i love the plane but just a question mind if i use your runway for inspiration? because ive built one before but i love the look of yours.
Sorry for the delay; TH-cam Studio wasn't notifying me of your follow-up response. But yeah, please feel free to do so! I used those giant sidewalk blocks for most of it, along with some Pleasant Park walls to get the dotted lines

Tutorial on how to build one? That looks a whole lot better than all the other ones I’ve seen and definitely has better controls for ascending and descending!!
I'll definitely look into making a tutorial! It may take some time before I can get one put together and upload a video, though, due to work, family time, etc.

Ive build alot nothin despawns it might lag and break stuff but thats it
I've had a few of the guided built vehicles phase under the map and not come back. None of my custom built vehicles have done that, thankfully

Haha that would be terrible! I've thankfully never had it despawn my custom built vehicles, though I have definitely lost a few of the guided built vehicles. Seems they phase under the map sometimes 🙄
@@CrypticGlyph Ive literally lost all my build vehicles, maybe uts a bug on my world, but the flying ones always de-spawn
@CringeDetectorBot that's terrible! The ones I've lost were either on an ice mountain and it phased into the mountain (my character has even done this if I load in near the edge of the ice cliff), when I've had them parked inside a build (custom garage), or atop a flat elevated piece of land you have to build a ramp to park it on. Pretty much anything that isn't the basic, ground level ground lol. I've only ever parked my custom vehicles on the basic ground, or my airstrip, so they thankfully are still here 😅
