      Hello Nadia. Thank you for commenting. I am sure it very much. I’ve heard that the weather is very good right now - not sweltering like 2023. Massey supermarket should be a 20-30 minute walk away from cleopatra village - that’s my rough estimate from reviewing the map location. I am very familiar with this area. I hope you have lots of fun!!!

    A fantastic video. I think a God goes to Saint Lucia for his holidays. We have been to Saint Lucia on holidays many many many times. We normally stay in the Rodney Bay Area. Massey is a fab shop. There are plenty of delicious restaurants In the area. The bay gardens beach resort is absolutely fantastic. The weekly groslet street parties is superb. The vibe on the Rodney bay beach is superbly relaxing . Spinikers the beach restaurant is normally packed and for good reason. Vendors on the beach ( liz ) are very friendly. Cab drivers are cool. A small speed boat trip around the Caribbean Sea is highly recommended. A van / cab trip around the island is also recommended. We are a Caribbean British ( Saint Vincent & Guyana family born in London. Thank you for your beautiful post. Hmm now where’s my passport.

    How does one choose which Caribbean island to visit? I'm told Barbados is better for older people because it's a flat island with easier walking. Sidewalks are always an issue.... As an older person I was told that Castries is hilly and difficult for walking. But it doesn't look too hilly. I guess it is the interior that is difficult, and since I'm not a hiker I wouldn't worry about going there anywhere unless by car.

    • @avidExplorer79
      @avidExplorer79 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your feedback! The city center area where this video was filmed is not very hilly. There are a few places with hills but they are not too challenging. You are correct about the outskirts. You will get progressively steeper walks the further out you go. Note, the center of most towns aren't steep. They follow the same pattern, being steeper when you move away from the center. There are sidewalks throughout the city center. The problem you may find is that there are deep drains between the sidewalks and the streets. It seemed like some work to alleviate this the last time I was there. This may still be a problem in a few places if mobility is an issue. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions.

    Both NYC and apparently Toronto stations have an obsession with stairs and inaccessibility for some reason. Admittedly this one isn't that bad but, the London underground has escalators and elevators at almost every station. My favourite part is that they built an escalator going up from the platform but left the stairs for descending!

    Cool to see Toronto from an outsider's POV! You found our transit system easy and efficient?

    • @avidExplorer79

      Thanks for asking. At first I found it very confusing. Using various apps and maps have been very helpful. In terms of efficiency, I am tempted to compare it to driving. However, when I think of getting to work/anywhere in rush hour traffic, there's no comparison. You can do so much more with your time while using public transportation.

    That's the easiest station? Well, in Barcelona there's a station called Casa de l'Aigua that only has an entrance and is directly connected to the only platform the station has and you don't even have to walk some stairs
