Abdul Abad neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the south of Tehran, which, while maintaining its traditional texture, has a different feel from other parts of the city. Since about 50 years ago, this neighborhood has housed one of Tehran's famous markets called "Abdul Abad Market" in its heart. This market was originally known as the cloth sellers market. Nowadays, the shops of Abdul Abad market in the alleys and back alleys of Abdul Abad neighborhood attract many buyers from all parts of the city by offering all kinds of fabrics, clothes and other cheap goods.
