The pump I remember is the later model pump that has the little marble that swirls in a globe on the face of the pump so you get a sense that the fuel was filling up the car

Well I got a 29 president limousine looks just like this except for the divider with roll down glass. Hopefully I'll be able to get parts for it. And it's steering wheel is on the other side. If anybody knows about these cars I'd love to hear from them. Thanks

I had a '62 Studebaker Hawk in the 1970's, and it would get 24 MPG on the highway driving from Fresno to San Diego. Just before that, I had a '62 Lark Cruiser, and it would get 22 mpg on the same drive. The Hawk had the 289 V8, and the Lark had the 259 V8. I guess that aerodynamics of the Hawk made the difference.

The 62 and 63 are in my opinion the ugliest studes this side of the 56-57

14:05 Weren’t all the Indy 500 pace cars convertibles at the time? That would explain why the official pace car used for the 1962 race was the Lark convertible, while the Avanti was the honorary pace car.

In my 75 years I've only owned one wagon, but that one was a Studebaker Lark, 61 2dr 6cyl. Great car.

I had a 1982 Subaru 4WD station wagon. It had a hill holder clutch like a Studebaker.

While the ‘58 Packard wagon was just plain weird looking, Studebaker hit it out of the park with the ‘63 Wagonaire. Brooks Stevens did so much with so little, and his sliding roof station wagon is a prime example. Imagine sitting in the third row seat with the top open and the tailgate window down. Fun, Fun, Fun!

I loved my 60 Lark 8 convertible. So fun to drive and got lots of attention.

I've had 3 Gran Turismos but this is the first time I've seen this ad. So much sportier than the others and I would love driving mine on twisty canyon roads.

We visited the Studebaker Museum a few years ago and were impressed with the layout and history.

I grew up in the days when having white wall tires and full wheel covers on your vehicle were standard on the upscale models, while black wall tires only came on the base models, unless you wanted to upgrade. White wall tires, unfortunately, were phased out when the European look for cars took hold.

This car has been altered a lot by the dealer that sold it or one of it's previous owners. Body Side Molding, Hood Ornament, full wheel covers, white walls were all added to the car which take away from the Police Car look.

I missed the first two seconds and was extremely confused when the horse didn't show up at all to tell us about the 1962 studebakers

I believe that the projection for XXI century for EV by now in 2024 is obsolete.

These cars had much more style than today's "cookie cutter" pieces of junk.

Our next door neighbor had 2 Studebakers. Lark and Hawk.
