Ebay has gotten more amd more strange over the years I sold on ebay since its in inception and left around 2005 when too many rules favored potentially rougie buyers to steal from sellers amd thenwhole no negative feedback for buyers and having to file taxes on ebay sales was the final straw for me.. I sell elsewhere now

what happened to the money in your account?

Etsy suspended me after I tried to open a second store which they do allow as long as you use the same banking account as the first one. It cost $15 which they took out of my account immediately then when I was trying to list an item I got a notification my account was closed and couldn’t get a refund. I appealed it which I got a message right away it was a final decision. I’ve been selling on Etsy for 11 years as a Star seller and couldn’t even chat with someone on Etsy so at least you got to chat with EBay which sounds like they don’t want to fix problems as well…

i have watched many videos about selling on ebay and i am scared to sell on ebay now, they are high dollar items, but after watching your videos and others now i do not know what to do

And they hold your funds Ebay has too much power. i hope ppl leave and sell on a different platform

So they charge idioticly high fees, hold your money from sales until they feel like paying it out, make you pay for a subscription to have a virtual store, suspend your account for "reasons" and they tell you its none of your business why and so on... Yeah, screw ebay. They have gotten to big for their own good.

Recently listed a bottle of perfume spray that was used but and had a buyer ask for an expiration date and there was no expiration date on the bottle.I never answer phone calls from unknown phone numbers too many scammers.This is ridiculous

Please what is that phone number you used to contact eBay? I just got permanently suspended and I am just a customer, not a seller. I paid for everything that I purchased.

Nice binds finds! ! I hit up several Dirt Cheaps this past fall, including their warehouse sale. The Franklinton location was a goldmine-I scored carts full of goodies for just $2 each, including formal gowns! Ended up needing a small storage unit (oops), but now I’m stocked for months, maybe even the whole year. Also, if you’re ever in the area and need a bathroom break, my house is always an option.

I use to be a big seller on eBay for years, when China sellers came in and rules were changed I left for good, I don’t sell or buy from eBay and I no longer will use PayPal, I use Poshmark and Facebook marketplace to sell now. It’s to risky!

I got banned for no reason I’m not even a seller. I’m a buyer. I bought a airsoft gun and they banned my account.

This happened to me and I want everyone to know I took $100 bill start off that I had that was for several hundred dollars that I was collecting I'm stupidly put it on eBay after literally spending thousands of dollars on there I figured I was just going to be another purchase but when I scratched the car and I couldn't read the numbers they wouldn't do anything about it they wouldn't return my money furthermore they kicked me off and then when I complained they said show us proof and I showed him all the proof the receipts and the card photos and everything and they said they received them but then they permanently kicked me off with no reason because they didn't want to return my $100 or something I hate to say this because I love you with all my heart but there are nefarious outfit for sure beware buyers please and especially now I'm seeing Sellers as well PS I literally bought thousands of CDs and other items on their throughout the years and I had over 300 Stars giving me a perfect rating from buyers and even had private messages from virus saying what a great person I was tell those Jokers that work at eBay kicked me off no offense the only hire people that don't speak English too
