That’s not true, I love micro-locs on dark skin women they look so beautiful ❤ especially layered. The only time this will happen is if the sections are made too small, If they are twisted or palm rolled too much (that’s ever going for larger locs tho) not being kept moisturized enough, if they get too long and heavier on the ends (that goes back to sectioning) or if you are having maintenance done more than you should, idc if a client wants to pay me triple the price I care more about their hair and my reputation I refuse to twist someone’s hair til it falls out. I’m also not a fan of twist method it’s way too much tension on the scalp to have done constantly, i prefer to crochet or interlock. I always make sure clients know which hair products to use and not to use. I’ll probably get some that will disagree with me and say this or that but I only care about the persons hair. ❤

its a loc and twist gel there’s multiple options of them but my favorite to use is the lux loc and twist in the peach scent

I might be stupid but I am curious. How does a twist stay in place? Like how does it stay twisted? I have straight hair so I don’t know much but I’m curious.
Unfortunately keeping it in a loc style is your best option. No amount of hair products could hold it in place for too long that’s why I always recommend a style. But do you just mean a good retwist product in general?

@@ThatHeadAch3 definitely have to use product on the scalp when retweeting for a cleaner look and better hold. If your hair is straight I’d say use sleek hold styling gel sit under the dryer after using it and then style it. That’s what I do for my clients with straight hair. Comes out very clean and the style holds it in and keeps it looking nice.
